Which Occupations Contribute Most to Society's Well-Being?

Public Esteem for Military Still High Clergy in the Middle, Lawyers at the Bottom

Quoted Text
Which Occupations Contribute Most to Society's Well-Being?
More than three-quarters of Americans continue to believe that members of the military contribute
"a lot" to society's well-being. By contrast, only 37% say clergy make a big contribution to society.

Wow!  Kinda shows ya how "out of touch" some on this board are compared to the rest of society.

Henry & Cicero are in the bottom 5%.

No surprise there!

Of course they contribute, you can't kill hundreds of thousands of people and not contribute to a whole lot of misery around the world.  I'm in the top 78%, there is no greater contributor to death and destruction than the US military.

Cic hates FACTS... He'd much rather just make up his own, as in this case.
Poor Cissy.  Out of touch, out of the mainstream and out of his mind!

Fine by me I don't need the military to survive, somehow relying on ones self  is a bad thing to you box. Like I said before some people need others to tell them how to live, that is the category you fall under, very sad.

Ummm I never relied on the military for my safety just like i never relied on the police for my safety, only an idiot would rely on others to protect themselves and their families safety. Do police stop all crime, no, in fact they don't even stop 5% of crime from taking place, that is a fact. Did the military stop all terrorist attacks against us, nope, arguments can be made that they created more hatred towards us.

Henry has lots of courage as long as some one else is fighting his battles for him.
He would contribute nothing but take all he can.

Fighting for him?  Massacring millions of Vietnamese was a battle Henry wanted someone else to fight for him?  I didn't know Henry had a problem with the Vietnamese?  He better thank you for fighting those Vietnamese before they got to Henry's front door.

Not one person was killed by the military for me.

They have all been done by the wishes of the government and against mine.

The government who, incidentally, didn't even register on Box's list of contributors in society.

Plus where was the working class persons? You know the taxpayers.

You know, the ones who actually contributed, not the ones perceived to contribute.

What battles box, please explain. Do you mean Vietnam, Iraq, Libya, Pakistan, Yemen, Grenada, Korea, Somalia etc , yeah I really took a lot from those battles LMAO. Yeah I know you tried to make the claim that the military is protecting our freedoms but yet you ignore we lost more rights from our own government then any foreign threat.

It's like a tag team in WWF Wrestling.
Henry answers for Cicero,
they tag,
then Cicero answers for Henry!

Quoted Text
'Horrible Henry', is dazed but he escapes the Figure Four by gouging 'Bodacious Box'
in the eyes...
'Horrible Henry' staggers to the corner of the mat and tags 'Crazy Cicero' while Cicero jumps
over the ropes attempting a Diving Elbow Drop.  Cic misses horribly (as he always does), allowing
'Bodacious Box' to put Cicero in a Hawaiian Sleeper Hold.
'Horrible Henry' is just rising to his feet outside the ropes as Cic drops to the mat unconscious.

Ding Ding Ding!!! The Referee raises 'Bodacious Box's' arm in victoty!!!
'Bodacious Box' wins the two on one tag team board championship!!!
