Kind of hard to believe that "cement failure" would be responsible for alleged leaks from a STEEL pipe.   Of course, BoxOfCrap is probably being fed this line of bull manure from the environmental wack jobs that work for some lobbyist firm or for a left-wing nut federal legislator.

DVOR.
Look at the video.  It's a oil/gas informational video from the Frackers themselves.  THEY ARE SHOWING
YOU HOW THE SYSTEM FAILS AND HOW THEY FIX IT WHEN IT DOES FAIL.

Nice cop out.  Good excuse for knowing the truth.

Let's try something a bit different.

Ok, Boxy......

Since you consider fracking to be bad, what would be an acceptable form of oil/gas extraction?

I don't know the science especially the geology of fracking, but those who do say each well is
different so a one size fits all approach just doesn't work.

I assume that like most technology, this one will improve over time.  Right now no one has an incentive to
'improve' the system, since all the drillers are interested in is the most product extracted for he lowest
cost.
I remember when the Mohawk was a toxic waste dump for every mill all the way up the river.  When they
started talking about "cleaning up the river"... the skeptics said it was impossible.  Well it wasn't impossible
and the Mohawk is far from the dump it once was.

Once there is an incentive not to pollute, drilling science will have a reason to find a better way to extract
and not pollute.

This is about DEEP well fracking for natural gas -- not about SI.

If you watch the video on Fracking made BY THE GAS COMPANY, you'll see in order to get DEEP
the drill must go through SHALLOW.  (Pretty basic)
If the cement seal fails SHALLOW, the fact that the ultimate drill is DEEP is irrelevant.

#1) You avoided the question - what does it have to do with SI?   SI is not proposing to frack in Rotterdam Jct or anywhere for that matter.

#2) There is quite a distance - almost a mile of rock between the water in the drinking supply and the natural gas that is being DEEP well fracked.  There is no evidence of the water traveling back and forth between those two zones NOW, and in which case the water would already be contaminated with the natural gas.

DEEP well fracking is safe.  Approve the drilling NOW and reap the economic benefits.

Not a single person would reap a dime from fracking except for corporate stockholders.

Stop lying.

landowners who are leasing the mineral rights would make money

consumers would benefit from lower energy costs

persons employed would benefit by receiving an income

so now -- you stop lying.
