So what your saying is that it took 10,000 years for ocean levels to rise a whole 460 feet.
That averages out to be 0.046ft. per year!!!!
OMFG!!!!....That could cause a Sharknado!!!!
I'm not entirely sure that they are all familiar with the greatest film of our generation, "SHARKNADO" (yes, even more so than "Snakes On A Plane"), so here is a two minute condensed version. Do not have any beverage in your mouth at 1:38, unless you wish to spray your screen with that beverage. If only Jonah had a chain saw... Actually, I think it may well be footage of the royal baby birth. You know, the kid they named after Zimmerman?
I don't think anyone denies there is climate change....but a persons very short life very rarely sees the impact....it's a future change...just like the ice age.....it's happening but our lives are as short as a fly's life compared to the time frame. All about saving the species? then adapt unless you plan to harness the sun or populate other planets....

Climate study predicts a watery future for New York, Boston and Miami A significant number of people in 1,700 American cities and towns will be living below sea-level by 2100.
More than 1,700 American cities and towns – including Boston, New York, and Miami – will have significant populations living below the high-water mark by the end of this century, a new climate change study has found.

Is that before or after the new ice age
"In the beginning of a change, the Patriot is a scarce man, brave, hated and scorned. When his cause succeeds, however, the timid join him, for then it costs nothing to be a Patriot."
What ice age is that Henry? Any data? Do the vast majority of climate scientists agree on that ICE AGE theory? I've read the post, but never the science to back it up.
There were a very minority of 'scientists' who thought the world was flat and if you went to the edge you'd fall off... are those the scientist you are quoting???

A lot of science is in medicine too....just like taking chemicals called medications....a lot of final research says "mechanism of action unknown"....but the effect is what we wanted...

Proposed Mechanism of Action in Acute Depressive Episodes of Bipolar Disorder While its mechanism of action is unknown, the efficacy of SEROQUEL XR in acute depressive episodes of bipolar disorder may partly be explained by the high affinity and potent inhibitory effects that norquetiapine (the active metabolite of quetiapine) exhibits for the norepinephrine transporter (NET).1
It has been proposed that the efficacy of SEROQUEL XR in schizophrenia is mediated through a combination of serotonin type 2A (5-HT2A) receptor antagonism and dopamine type 2 (D2) receptor antagonism.1
Antagonism at receptors other than dopamine and serotonin may explain some of the other effects of SEROQUEL XR1 Antagonism at histamine (H1) receptors may explain somnolence1 Antagonism at adrenergic (α1b) receptors may explain orthostatic hypotension1 Antagonism at muscarinic (M1) receptors may explain anticholinergic effects1

SEROQUEL XR is indicated in adults for (1) adjunctive therapy to antidepressants in major depressive disorder; (2) acute depressive episodes in bipolar disorder; (3) acute manic or mixed episodes in bipolar I disorder, as either monotherapy or adjunct therapy to lithium or divalproex; (4) maintenance treatment of bipolar I disorder as an adjunct to lithium or divalproex; and (5) schizophrenia. SEROQUEL is indicated in adults for the treatment of (1) acute depressive episodes in bipolar disorder; (2) acute manic episodes in bipolar I disorder, as either monotherapy or adjunct therapy to lithium or divalproex; (3) maintenance treatment of bipolar I disorder as an adjunct to lithium or divalproex, and (4) schizophrenia. Patients should be periodically reassessed to determine the need for treatment and the appropriate dose.
Important Safety Information About SEROQUEL XR and SEROQUEL Increased Mortality in Elderly Patients with Dementia-Related Psychosis: Elderly patients with dementia-related psychosis treated with antipsychotic drugs are at an increased risk of death. SEROQUEL XR and SEROQUEL are not approved for the treatment of patients with dementia-related psychosis.
Suicidal Thoughts and Behavior: Antidepressants increased the risk of suicidal thoughts and behavior in children, adolescents, and young adults in short-term studies. These studies did not show an increase in the risk of suicidal thoughts and behavior with antidepressant use in patients over age 24; there was a reduction in risk with antidepressant use in patients aged 65 and older. In patients of all ages who are started on antidepressant therapy, monitor closely for worsening, and for emergence of suicidal thoughts and behaviors. Advise families and caregivers of the need for close observation and communication with the prescriber. SEROQUEL XR and SEROQUEL are not approved for use in pediatric patients under ten years of age.
Contraindication: Hypersensitivity to quetiapine or to any excipients in the SEROQUEL XR or SEROQUEL formulation. Anaphylactic reactions have been reported in patients treated with SEROQUEL XR and SEROQUEL.
Cerebrovascular Adverse Reactions, Including Stroke, in Elderly Patients with Dementia-Related Psychosis: In placebo-controlled trials with risperidone, aripiprazole, and olanzapine in elderly subjects with dementia, there was a higher incidence of cerebrovascular adverse reactions (cerebrovascular accidents and transient ischemic attacks), including fatalities, compared to placebo-treated subjects. SEROQUEL XR and SEROQUEL are not approved for the treatment of patients with dementia-related psychosis.
Neuroleptic Malignant Syndrome (NMS): A potentially fatal symptom complex, sometimes referred to as NMS, has been reported in association with administration of antipsychotic drugs, including quetiapine. Rare cases of NMS have been reported with quetiapine. Clinical manifestations of NMS are hyperpyrexia, muscle rigidity, altered mental status, and evidence of autonomic instability (irregular pulse or blood pressure, tachycardia, diaphoresis, and cardiac dysrhythmia). Additional signs may include elevated creatine phosphokinase, myoglobinuria (rhabdomyolysis), and acute renal failure. Management should include immediate discontinuation of antipsychotic drugs and other drugs not essential to concurrent therapy, intensive symptomatic treatment, and medical monitoring, and treatment of any concomitant serious medical problems.
Metabolic Changes: Atypical antipsychotic drugs have been associated with metabolic changes that include hyperglycemia/diabetes mellitus, dyslipidemia, and body weight gain. In some patients, a worsening of more than one of the metabolic parameters of weight, blood glucose, and lipids was observed in clinical studies. Changes in these metabolic profiles should be managed as clinically appropriate.

Unprecedented July Cold – Arctic Sees Shortest Summer On Record
“Normally the high Arctic has about 90 days above freezing. This year there was less than half that,” says Steven Goddard website.

“The Arctic ice extent is showing a remarkable recovery from the great oscillations of 2012,” says Guimaraes. “Compare with the previous years listed there, you’ll see that 2004 is the year that is closest to 2013 in terms of average temps during the summer.”

Not surprised since the last part of July and the first part of August here really haven't been summer like...but of course, this story and the like will get no press whatsoever since it doesn't support the Climate change agenda...the press only reports on heat waves and severe weather, items they can "logically" tie to climate change.
The climate change movement is no different than any other movement...the extremes on both ends get the press.. Look back 15 years ago and none of the doomsayers predictions have come true. Is the climate changing? yes, it does continuously Is it warming? yes Do I believe the cataclysmic predictions? no, because the entities predicting them have miserable track records. Should we migrate to renewable energy? of course, but for business reasons more than ecological reasons.
