Zimmerman, a much larger man, followed Trayvon BECAUSE he had a gun.  If he was unarmed, he would
have stayed in the shadows and sulked as he did many other times when reporting 'suspicious people.

Zimmerman is a GunHugger who looked at himself as the LAW.  He couldn't wait for a legitimate
chance to use his piece and shoot someone who he was sure 'deserved it'.

i dont think he was wieghing that when he  was having his head slammed into the ground.
the prosecutions move to include manslaughter at the last minute was an act of desperation.. they knew from the beginning he was overcharged. their only hope was they could crack him if he testified. according to court observers, the jurys note taking has dropped off and they have asked to minimize breaks.. they want this over...probably because they realize this was a colossal waste of time and money..
if the "white" hispanic Zimmerman walks, the race baiters will turn their attention to the "inept" presecution and leaking the names of the jurors...

The prosecutors already admitted Martin was on top when they used the dummy, that went against their whole case leading up to that point, and like you said this last minute attempt for a manslaughter charge is desperation. I don't even think they would have got that from another judge but you can tell this judge has it in for the defense and Zimmerman.

"The Judge Had It In For Me"... said by every guilty man in prison.
"I was framed"...
"They convicted the wrong guy"...
etc etc etc.

Zimmerman is as guilty (of at least manslaughter) as OJ, and like OJ, he'll probably walk.

If Zimmerman didn't have a gun  HE WOULDN'T HAVE FOLLOWED HIM

If Zimmerman wanted to use his gun to gain an advantage, he wouldn't have ended up on his back and repeatedly punched in the face.

If he didnt have a gun zimmerman would have stayed put when the dispatcher told him to do so

Zimmerman was out looking for trouble.

Walking the neighborhood after his neighbors house was broken into while she was home, as well as other houses in the neighborhood is looking for trouble?  Has your house been broken into while you were home?

Based on the information that was out there, it seems Zimmermans intentions were not sinister or out "looking for trouble".  It seems he was looking to deter the people breaking into the neighborhood homes.  I don't think his intentions were to harass and kill a person. Calling the police and then being beaten by the person you called the cops about doesn't seem like a person looking for trouble.  If he was looking for trouble, he needs to learn to do a better job of it.  I would think calling the police was the first mistake if you intend to harass and assault a person.

And what makes you think that if he didn't have a gun he wouldn't have continued to stay in visual contact of Trayvon?  Didn't testimony say the Zimmerman was trained in some sort of martial arts?

Tend to agee with this statement. I think if he did not have a gun (not debating the right to own here.....)
he would not have confronted Martin like he did. He should ahve kept eye on him if
he felt this was a potential intruder, so he could lead the police to him.
Having the gun provided false bravado that he likely wouldn't have had.

5 White guys could pass by Zimmerman that night... he wasn't looking for 'criminals', he was looking
for trouble.  Trayvon fit the profile in Zimmerman's mind... so he picked a fight and shot.

So Hispanics are racists and profile black people?

Why am I not surprised by your stereotype?  Because you are a racist.

My post was based on Zimmerman's comments stereotyping Martin.

One question though... Is this Cicero posting or is this Cicero posting for Henry...
or
Is this really Henry's opinion and you are posting it???

You know... you do seem to live in the same mind and all!
