My post was on topic about the Zimmerman arrest, and justice.
The anti govt gang's post is about race and Rodney King. Figures.

Then why did you post this picture so early in your thread

Because Race plays a part in this murder. Some people are racist, some are colorblind, and many are somewhere in between. In this trial, not only the racial motives of the murderer (and possibly the victim) are an issue, but also the racial motives of the jury.
I really don't care much how this trial ends. IMO, justice was served when Zimmerman was arrested and charged. The rest is up to the jury.

While waiting for the verdict and listening to the TV commentators got me thinking of the retired nun here in Sch'dy who was murdered. Was she "profiled" because she was elderly and lived alone?
Curtis Sliwa—the founder of the Guardian Angels said" George Zimmerman is more like Travis Bickle in Taxi Driver. He’s a nut. He’s a complete nut job who thinks he’s on a ‘mission,"
I'm wondering why Zimmerman allowed himself to be put on the ground screaming for help.
Was his gun scream activated?
It just seems to me, like he was setting up the justification for deadly force.
Not to many people would allow their heads to be slammed in the ground to set them up, one hard hit could have knocked him unconscious or killed him. When I first heard of this case I thought to myself he was an idiot, but finding out later of the recent robberies I believe he was a concerned citizen. This is a real horrible story and I feel bad for both of them and their families.

Travis Bickle: You talkin' to me? You talkin' to me? You talkin' to me? Then who the hell else are you talking... you talking to me? Well I'm the only one here. Who the fcuk do you think you're talking to? Oh yeah? OK.
George Zimmernam in actual life
This guy looks like he's up to no good, or he's on drugs or something. It's raining and he's just walking around, looking about. Dispatcher: OK, and this guy is he white, black, or Hispanic? Zimmerman: He looks black. Dispatcher: Did you see what he was wearing? Zimmerman: Yeah. A dark hoodie, like a grey hoodie, and either jeans or sweatpants and white tennis shoes. He's [unintelligible], he was just staring... Dispatcher: OK, he's just walking around the area... Zimmerman: ...looking at all the houses. Dispatcher: OK... Zimmerman: Now he's just staring at me. ... Zimmerman: Yeah, now he's coming towards me. Dispatcher: OK. Zimmerman: He's got his hand in his waistband. And he's a black male. Dispatcher: How old would you say he looks? Zimmerman: He's got button on his shirt, late teens. Dispatcher: Late teens ok. Zimmerman: Somethings wrong with him. Yup, he's coming to check me out, he's got something in his hands, I don't know what his deal is. ... Zimmerman: Okay. These assholes they always get away.... sh*t he's running. Dispatcher: He's running? Which way is he running? Zimmerman: Down towards the other entrance to the neighborhood. Dispatcher: Which entrance is that that he's heading towards? Zimmerman: The back entrance...f**king [unintelligible] Dispatcher: Are you following him? Zimmerman: Yeah Dispatcher: Ok, we don't need you to do that. Zimmerman: Ok Dispatcher: Alright sir what is your name? Zimmerman: George...He ran.
