If I lived in the neighborhood, I'd like to know if a MURDERER were in my area, much like I have looked into the names of child molesters in my zip code.
Knowing that there is a known killer, someone who shoots first and asks questions afterward like this scumbag, I'd be sure to do the shooting first, and wonder if that was an iced tea, or a pistol that George was aiming at me. If I felt in 'fear for my life', I'd be justified in shooting whoever he was. (Personally, I'd drop him with one to the knee, then one to the nuts, if it was George. Unless absolutely necessary, I would not shoot to kill.)
