Here's my take, whatever one thinks about the morality of our governments actions, we can't have decisions being made at that level as to what gets made public or not. Bradley Manning was putting his own judgment ahead of other people's who perhaps might know more in some very sensitive areas.
He really wasn't in a position to know what harm he might inadvertantly do to others. Just sayin'.
