I once had a thought that my neighborhood should secede to Niskayuna, but over the last several years I have been noticing that Niskayunans have been asleep at the switch and their government is not all that it should be, and their tax dollars have not been being used wisely. Recent events with the school district there have proved my suspicions correct, so it probably wouldn't be worth the trouble to go to Niskayuna as this is where they are headed. They just have more people who can afford it and they don't have as large a number of unruly children from downstate entering the schools. |
