Optimists close their eyes and pretend problems are non existent. Better to have open eyes, see the truths, acknowledge the negatives, and speak up for the people rather than the politicos and their rich cronies.
It did get a little windy with some rotation as the storm moved through where Guilderland Ave crosses the Thruway. The news said we got 70mph winds as the front moved thru.

we were very lucky...Bellevue to the west got hit hard, Mt pleasant to the east got hit hard as well.. The storm must have wrapped around us... We did have bad winds and all, some downed limbs, but we lost power for about five seconds...Hard to believe areas that I could walk to in an easy 20 minutes got hit so hard.
