There is some doubt in the reported drownings of a father & son in Sacandaga.

According to the Gazette:

"Doubts arise in disappearance of Broadalbin father and son
Sheriff says they may have 'just run away from home'"

I  was talking about that case with a coworker yesterday... I thought if they did drown, the bodies would be found this weekend as people went up to open their camps as this is the traditional start of the summer season.
We were going to do the same, but the weather outlook, we will probably wait.

Sacandaga has a lot of wooded and brushed shoreline, which make a body hard to spot from the water.
I guess we will see, the credit card use could also involve foul play with the perp using the obtained cards.

According to the Fulton County Sheriff, "the temperature of the lake is about 50 degrees and it could take
up to a couple weeks for any bodies to rise to the surface."

Then if they are in the lake, it may take longer than that if they get snagged on something...based on where they were fishing, it wouldn't surprise me.

Did they find the boat, or the cushions, life preservers?

Sounds like a conspiracy.  You can't doubt official reports.  This sheriff is part of the tin foil hat club.

Definitely can't trust him then.  He wants to overthrow the government.
