Remember the Benghazi scandal?

Ongoing, more witnesses survivors are set to testify.

Quoted Text
Remember the Birth Certificate?

Closed....Could have been closed years ago, but I guess it took a wacko like Trump to get done in 3 days what was asked for in 3 years.

Quoted Text
Remember Rev Wright?

Was never a scandal... Just shows that Obama hangs with far-left radicals.

Quoted Text
Remember Fast & Furious?

Ongoing.....Eric Holder is charged with contempt in this case. I guess the deaths of 300+ Mexicans (including 15+ from a teenage birthday party) and a couple of boarder agents from guns the Obama administration illegally smuggled to Mexican drug cartels is ok with you.

Quoted Text
Remember the last 100 or so invented scandals?

No....I see you pretending that there aren't any scandals going on and that Obama is as clean as wind driven snow.

Quoted Text
Why is it every time the Republicans invent a scandal, their polls drop (as Obama's rise)

Why is it when you seem to get desperate, you chuck up some poll?

The modern conservative is engaged in one of man's oldest exercises in moral
philosophy; that is, the search for a superior moral justification for selfishness.

You can't petition the government for lower taxes, the tax collectors will target you.

FREEDOM! FREEDOM! FREEDOM!

The cartoon above is how box's democracy works.  That is the freedom he sacrificed for.  He fought for the right of the government to crush any citizens organizing to reduce the tax burden.  It was part of his oath to defend the constitution.

If I were the IRS and there was a group calling itself "i'M A LIBERAL WHO WON'T PAY MY TAXES"...
I would investigate that group wouldn't you?
And if this group was guilty of tax fraud, I would investigate similar groups.

These groups are petitioning the government for lower taxes, not tax fraud.  I understand you would like to redefine these groups for rhetorical effect, but I haven't heard of these groups organizing tax fraud.  Obama hasn't even suggested that tea party organizations are organizing tax fraud.  You are making up your own delusional facts to fit your political agenda.

Yes I want any group that openly defies tax law to be held to the letter of the law, regardless of their
political affiliation.
From the Huston Chronicle:

The IRS is under heavy fire for its targeting of the tea party and similar organizations
when they submitted applications for tax-exempt status.
With a 40-year career advising tax-exempt organizations, both as an attorney and CPA,
I have studied with interest the recent U.S. inspector general's May 14 report and the IRS
response

Many people think the Internal Revenue Service was involved in a sinister plot to target tea
party applications
from the get-go. However, according to IRS written responses, early
tea party applications containing descriptions of potential political, lobbying or advocacy
activities caused later applications containing that name to be targeted. That criterion was
inappropriate and politically incorrect "profiling," but it was a shortcut and efficient method
of handling all tea party applications. Due to a limited staff, the IRS needed to develop
workable solutions to handling the heavy increase in volume of similar applications, from
conservative and liberal applicants.

Also according to the IRS, even had the tea party applications not been targeted, most
of them would have been properly "centralized," or subjected to additional inquiries by
IRS staff.

Most media reports focus only on the tea party applications that were targeted. However,
the inspector general's report points out that the IRS attempted to subject all applications
to centralization that contained indications the organization might engage in political campaigns,
lobbying or advocacy.

NYTimes:
'LEGITIMATE BASIS' FOR IRS SCRUTINY OF CONSERVATIVE GROUPS

Quoted Text
When CVFC, a conservative veterans’ group in California, applied for tax-exempt status with the
Internal Revenue Service, its biggest expenditure that year was several thousand dollars in radio ads
backing a Republican candidate for Congress.
The Wetumpka Tea Party, from Alabama, sponsored training for a get-out-the-vote initiative dedicated
to the “defeat of President Barack Obama” while the I.R.S. was weighing its application.

And the head of the Ohio Liberty Coalition sent out e-mails to members about Mitt Romney campaign
events and organized members to distribute Mr. Romney’s presidential campaign literature.

Representatives of these organizations have cried foul in recent weeks about their treatment by the
I.R.S., saying they were among dozens of conservative groups unfairly targeted by the agency,
harassed with inappropriate questionnaires and put off for months or years as the agency delayed
decisions on their applications.

But a close examination of these groups and others reveals an array of election activities that
tax experts and former I.R.S. officials said would provide a legitimate basis for flagging them
for closer review.

If there was 'legitimate bias', then why would the IRS come out and apologize for targeting upstart Conservative groups?

Just wondering Boxy....Is this a new buzz word for you socialists (legitimate bias)?  I can think of a whole bunch of applications to be used with this.

Let's try this as one such example.....

Is it 'legitimate bias' to ask for ID/Immigration status to those of Mexican/Hispanic origin living in border states with Mexico?

Obama should be impeached and removed from office for this abuse of power.  And any Member of Congress who defends this corrupt administration should be soundly defeated in 2014 and replaced with someone with the integrity and intelligence to fulfill the oath of office (which includes the statement "to defend the Constitutinof the United States from all enemies foreign and domestic) and properly represent us in Congress.

OK, then. How much taxes do the unions pay?

"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."

Just calm down everyone!

Boxy will be back on soon™ to chuck multiple red herring and strawman arguments, just as soon as Soros gives them their talking points.

THEY CAN SAY ANYTHING IS LEGITIMATE using terms like 'it's unfair' 'it's not fair share' etc etc....those types of phrases
incite anger BETWEEN us....ON PURPOSE....get it?

flat tax...simple tax law...this conversation would be moot if we just keep it simple stupid.....

EVERYONE IS POLITICAL OR THEY ARE A NOMAD

The replacement of morality and conscience with law produces a deadly paradox.
