Anyone here into taxidermy, I just bought this piece from a very nice lady I did some work for, now I just need a place to put it I had to redo the mount and landing, some Spanish moss worked well for that grassy look, I still want to find a small birch branch to add into the background along with a few broken twigs.
I couldn't say no to that face

i just hope they used the meat to feed their starving family! or that they love deer meat better than anyother.

Don't worry it wasn't hunted, most of the smaller ones like these die from natural causes and believe it or not road kill if it isn't to damaged.

The deer itself is 33" high and about the same lengthwise, I'm 6'2" and it comes up to my waist, the base and mount is what takes up space.

bumble yeah I'm not into taxidermy stuff and would only kill a deer for survival but like Henry said this little one probably died from natural causes or hit by a car or something.

Too bad you don't have a dear, or a house to put a dear. Guess you have finally accepted that your renaissance city is failing, huh, can't even address the issues anymore, too painful to know you have been wrong all along
Optimists close their eyes and pretend problems are non existent. Better to have open eyes, see the truths, acknowledge the negatives, and speak up for the people rather than the politicos and their rich cronies.
if Henry would put his weapon down......he would be believable.
Nah .. those deer are even better looking when they are tied on the truck after a day of hunting.
