Problem:
Little old lady, wants to cross the street at a busy intersection.
Solution:
Local policeman safely escorts the little old lady across the street.
Good Samaritan escorts the little old lady across the street.  Doesn't get paid a dime to do it.
Cicero's view of that incident:
Ruthless costumed thug, detains grandma and drags her forcibly across a busy intersection against her
will.

Costumed thug with body armor, handgun, pepper spray and handcuffs reluctantly escorts the lady across the road and is paid $80K a year to do it.  Then the following week, the elderly woman on a fixed income gets a call from the PBA and asked to donate $50 to support the police that are already paid roughly double the median income of the community they police.

As I pointed out above... Cic sees the police as the enemy and evil in every situation.  Says a much more
about the poster than it does about the post.

Again,  Your blinding hatred of the police is distorting your judgement.

The modern conservative is engaged in one of man's oldest exercises in moral
philosophy; that is, the search for a superior moral justification for selfishness.

So are you a good Samaritan????????
You'll say yes, but I would bet a bunch that
you would look the other way; ignore her; wait for someone else to
do it; or complain there was no cop around to help her.....

Box's could never even imagine a voluntary good samaritan would help an old lady across the road.  Only a paid government official is capable of such a task.  And without them, society would crumble and there would be an epidemic of old ladies being run over by cars while crossing the road.

Cicero could never imagine a policeman could be a good samaritan.  Plumbers, carpenters, stock
brokers... yes... but a policeman being a good samaritan is out of the realm of possibility in
Ciceros demented little world.

(Again, it's the "authority figure"... the cop, the teacher, the politician... anyone in the position of
authority in Cicero's fearful little life is to be portrayed as EVIL.)

Solution:
Cicero ignores little old lady and complains..."WHER ARE ALL THE Go*Dam**D COPS?
WHAT THE HELL ARE THEY GETTING PAID FOR? ARE THEY ALL AT DUNKIN' DONUTS?
THAT'S WHY I NEED A GUN, CUZ THIS LITTLE OLD LADY NEEDS HELP AND I AIN'T
GONNA DO IT IF I AIN'T GOT NO GUN...AFTER ALL, THIS IS THE RICH NEIGHBORHOOD
AND YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT DEM RICH PEOPLES MIGHT DO!!!  AFTER ALL, I GOT A REP
TO UPHOLD!!!!!

Yesterday, I was at a health center on Washington Ave.

A little old lady was standing in a parking spot looking like she needed help to get into the building.

I asked, would you like some help over the curb and into the building?

My wife then replied, "get the hell out of my way before I beat you to death!"

Box NEEDS the "authority figures" to help him feel secure in such an uncertain world.  It gives him a sense of security like the little binky or ba-ba his mommy gave him when he had nightmares as a little boy.

Without the "authority" all that box's mind can envision is CHAOS.  It must be pretty frightening for him.

Unlike Cissy, I have no problem with or without an authority figure.
I don't resent the police, judges, politicians etc. They are doing a job, most as best they can.
Cissy doesn't have a problem with a cop... one or two rude or abusive cops... Cicero has
a problem with ALL COPS.  ALL MILITARY.  ALL AUTHORITY FIGURES.

BINGO!!

this is what happens when you are brainwashed at an early age by 'government issued military'. it should really come as no surprise. ya have to consider the source. military is all they understand. there is nothing else. cic...you are correct....it is very frightening to the 'government issued military'. brainwashing at an early age is key to the 'government issued military complex'!

fortunately or unfortunately (however ya wanna view it) is why there are so many military suicides and why 'government issued drugs' are given to the present day military folks......they DO recognize the LIE!

FORGIVE THEM......THEY KNOW NOT WHAT THEY DO!!!
