Being pro-life means you believe unemployment, welfare, and Social Security are
not entitlements
If they are not entitlements, what are they - rights?

They are needs. When the government decided to use force to take money from the citizens,
they agreed to use the money for these needs. It was a contract and it is their obligation to
provide these services.

Should the government be providing these services? Hell no. But they made the promises.
They are obligated.

Performing agreed upon service that one is obligated to perform, doesn't make the recipients entitled.

Similarly, any service provider is not entitled, simply because you contracted to pay them.

It is your obligation.

Being pro-life means you believe that access to good health care is a right, not
a privilege
At whose expense?  Access doesn't mean entitled.  I have access to buy a Ferrari, it doesn't mean I have a right to it.

There are 2 issues here. Personal and governmental.

1. A pro-life person would work to see that all persons receive good health care. He would not deny a person treatment
and allow suffering or death to those in need. Hence the term pro-life.

2. The government has again interfered with the natural order through restrictions, laws and regulations,
causing astronomical costs, thereby creating a need for themselves to micro-manage the health care industry.
They have decided for all of society's benefit that they alone can decide what's in the best interest for all.
We know otherwise, that they control the industry to favor corporate health treatment and massive insurance
money being sucked from the system. The government, on your behalf has determined it is a right to be
financed by you. As an individual I support the right of a person to receive good health care. I don't support
the corporate, the government or the insurance companies, that get rich off of pain, suffering and death.
The only right being defended by the government is the right for corporations to profit off of government
(mis)management.

If you are really pro-life, you’d support allowing same sex couples to adopt and
foster children.
Why stop a same sex couple?  Why not single men and women?

Sorry, I forgot to include singles. Adoption should be legal for anyone.

homeless
How?  Who grants access?  Who pays the farmers and the home builders?

It's funny you are against government run services, but you assume I am espousing government
regulated management of my pro-life beliefs. I am not.

People can provide for people without government regulation and mismanagement.

Beliefs are not laws. They are personal preferences. Each person through his elected
representatives must decide what services his representative government will provide.

Whether the government provides a service or not, it doesn't affect my belief at all.

They are 2 separate issues.

If you are really prolife, you’d support better access to proper education
How?

Who determines "proper education"?

Again, personal beliefs are not government issued rights.

Supporting proper education is not support for government mandated indoctrination centers.

Personally, I believe that K-12l education and everything necessary to get a degree in any field,
should be freely available to all.

Government protectionism of learned knowledge is capitalistic and against my beliefs.

As are copyrights and patents.

Bottom line abortion is killing a defenseless human life.  Abortion is terrorism and everyone who supports unlimited access to abortion is no promoting terrorism and an agenda of death that strikes at the very heart of our liberty and dignity as humans.

What makes you think that GOD opposes choice???

my point exactly.....but the reason isn't always as flippant as you say...oh wait!!! that's right...only in gun control is
it that difficult....

an abortion is just cells

a gun is an ASSAULT weapon(compared to others of course)

we may all stand to explain the guns
we may all stand to explain the abortions
we may all stand to explain the wars
we may all stand to explain the rapes
we may all stand to explain the starvation
etc etc etc......

so what makes you god or me god in legislation over other humans? hold on, we both need a background check first...

Gosnell murder trial: Grisly testimony of abortions gone wrong
Philadelphia Police via AP, file

Dr. Kermit Gosnell, 69, is charged with murder in the deaths of seven babies and one patient.
By Tracy Connor, Staff Writer, NBC News
The trial of Philadelphia abortion provider Kermit Gosnell has entered its fifth week, and details of the disturbing, graphic testimony about conditions and alleged atrocities at his clinic are reaching the public and garnering more and more attention.  With many more weeks of testimony likely before jurors decide whether Gosnell is guilty of first-degree murder for allegedly delivering viable newborns and then killing them, here’s a primer on Gosnell, the case and his defense.

Who is Kermit Gosnell?

Gosnell, 72, was the owner and only licensed doctor at the Women's Medical Society in Philadelphia’s hardscrabble Mantua neighborhood. The clinic is not far from the middle-class area where he was raised by a gas station operator and a government clerk.

He has been married three times and is the father of six children.

What is he charged with?

Gosnell is charged with capital murder for allegedly killing seven babies who prosecutors say were delivered alive as part of a late-term abortion procedure. He is accused of snipping their spinal cords with scissors after delivery or directing his workers to do it. He could face the death penalty if convicted.

"It was literally a beheading," unlicensed medical-school graduate Stephen Massof, who worked at Gosnell’s clinic, testified earlier this month. "It is separating the brain from the body."

Gosnell is also charged with third-degree murder in the 2009 death of Karnamaya Mongar, a Nepalese refugee who prosecutors say was killed by an overdose of pain medication prescribed by Gosnell, and he faces a host of lesser charges related to the clinic operation.

A 2011 grand jury report alleges that Gosnell was responsible for the deaths of many more viable fetuses but could not be charged because the records had been destroyed.

The report also claims that other women died or were injured because of his negligence.

Florida Abortion Bill Debate Causes Black Women Lawmakers To Walk Out
Posted: 04/19/2013 5:04 pm EDT  |  Updated: 04/19/2013 6:27 pm EDT

A debate in Florida's House of Representatives over a Republican-sponsored ban on race- and sex-selective abortions became extremely heated Thursday, causing several black women lawmakers to walk out in protest.

House Bill 845, sponsored by Rep. Charles Van Zant (R-Keystone Heights), would make it a third-degree felony in Florida to perform an abortion based on the race or gender of the fetus. In his closing statements on Thursday, Van Zant accused Planned Parenthood and other abortion providers of intentionally targeting black people. "The fact is, 80 percent of abortion clinics nationwide are located in minority neighborhoods where 43 percent of all black babies are aborted," Van Zant said, according to the Tampa Bay Times................>>>>....................>>>>....................http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/04/19/florida-abortion-bill_n_3118365.html
