First, I really don't like the power companies, for a variety of reasons, but this guy is a jacka$$. Actually, it's in your service agreement, that the companies must have access to their equipment. Using RF monitored meters, actually increases your privacy, because once they are installed, there is no need to come on your property ever again.

what you forget is that technology will 'take you along' even if you don't have 'apps'...kind of like no more paper social security checks and food stamp $$ cards/WIC cards etc etc....
