I am not sure that the roundabout proposal is on any short list of upcoming projects -- it is likely that it is several years or more off. |

The roundabout suggestion came out of a DOT study -- but in order for it to be funded, it would have to be on the Capital District's list of road projects (usually the list is drawn up every 5 years or so) -- and I know it wasn't on the last list. So - if the project were to have any hopes of becoming a reality it would have to be put on a future list and then wait for funding. Furthermore, I don't believe that the roundabout proposal was exactly well-received by those whose properties adjoin 5 Corners and then there is the issue of the town having to come up with a few million dollars for its share of the project cost.
