Then come the GOP primary and the rest of the candidates ignored RP, The rest of America ignored RP, only the faithful RP groupies kept the faith.

Actually they didn't ignore him they went into full blown attack mode which included cheating, I guess many wanted to ignore the fake ballots being passed out by the Romney campaign at the conventions. Oh wait you are right they did ignore him even when he came in 2nd in the 1st state, even liberal John Stewart called out the horrible treatment by the media and gop.
