What's he filibustering?  The presidents ability to kill an American on American soil without due process?  What a radical!  He should be filibustering against warrantless wiretaps and enhanced interrogation.  These are the things Obama and the dems really find appalling.  This killing Americans is small beans.  Nothin to concern yourself with.

he's talking about 9/11 now, how an FBI agent tried 70 times to get a warrant to look at Mousois sp? computer, this one month before 9/11 and he was refused.  He says the higher ups got medals but this FBI agent who a month before 9/11 could have gotten information maybe that would have shown info regarding the attack that was planned  was ignored.

Just imagine if he did get the warrant ........

Rand Paul is fillibustering until President Obama says that drones will NOT be used against non combatants.

Paul ran out of gas after only 3 hours... not much of a filibuster!

But Paul did not endure the filibuster by himself. At three hours and 10 minutes,
he began sharing his time with other Republican senators,
Mike Lee of Utah, Ted Cruz of
Texas, Jerry Moran of Kansas, Marco Rubio of Florida, Saxby Chambliss of Georgia, John
Cornyn of Texas, and Pat Toomey of Pennsylvania

sharing is good....kind of like a 'jury of your voted in peers'

...you are a product of your environment, your environment is a product of your priorities, your priorities are a product of you......

The replacement of morality and conscience with law produces a deadly paradox.

Paul's wussy filibuster of just over 3 hours is an embarrassment... he barely got started before he needed
back up...

~The record for the longest filibuster goes to U.S. Sen. Strom Thurmond of South Carolina, who spoke
for 24 hours and 18 minutes
~The second longest filibuster was conducted by our own U.S. Sen. Alfonse D'Amato of New York, who
spoke for 23 hours and 30 minutes

Wall Street Journal to Rand Paul:
'CALM DOWN'

The conservative Wall Street Journal editorial board slammed Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) Thursday for his
almost 13-hour filibuster against John Brennan, the nominee for CIA director, over the fact that Attorney
General Eric Holder said the U.S. government had the legal authority to kill an American citizen on U.S. soil.

"Calm down, Senator," wrote the editors. "Mr. Holder is right, even if he doesn't explain the law very well.
The U.S. government cannot randomly target American citizens on U.S. soil or
anywhere else. What it can do under the laws of war is target an "enemy combatant"
anywhere at anytime, including on U.S. soil. This includes a U.S. citizen who is also an
enemy combatant."

How is an "enemy combatant" determined, and who makes that determination?  That means that the US Federal Government's Executive Branch has declared war on every man woman and child in the world.
