it's not perception it's fact...there are a few web sites out there that tabulate monthly temps for metro areas in the northeast. Pick any city and compare the first six months of 2015 temps to historical averages. I have yet to find a metro northeast area that had "near normal" or "above normal" temps for the first six months of 2015 overall. The northeast is the only area that shows this...my question is, why doesn't it display that way in your graph? A real fast way to look at your area is to look at your utility bills for that period. National Grid provides comparisons for the billed month/month a year ago.

So... the first 6 months of 2012... my gas company raised their rates due to shortages... My bill went up by 14% OR AS TBIRD WOULD HAVE YOU BELIEVE... IT WAS A COLD 6 MONTHS!
The last 6 months of 2012... our two kids moved out of the house and used almost no hot water.... So... AS TBIRD WOULD HAVE YOU BELIEVE... IT WAS A WARM 6 MONTHS!

I only mentioned the gas bill as a quick reference, because I know you would be too lazy to look up actual historical vs 2015 averages.... independent research, not using sites like HuffPO and MSNBC is diametrically opposed to your "lapdog to the DNC" mentality..
