.......2 Executives May Have Faked Deaths
By SUSANNA KIM | ABC News – 3 hrs ago...
2 Executives May Have Faked Deaths (ABC News)

.....The reporter in Mexico who described the purported death of two American executives with a crumbling business said they were likely not killed and he may have been "fed" the story.

Antonio Neri Johnston, a reporter for El Occidental newspaper in Guadalajara, Mexico, wrote a story on Feb. 11, describing that the bodies of Americans Michael Davies and Derald Johnston, identified as the CEO and CFO, respectively, of Southridge Enterprises in Dallas, had been discovered.

Johnston said a man who claimed to be a police officer in a remote village said two bodies were found in a river with documents showing their identities.

"The strange thing is, they called me, but also other colleagues," Johnston, who could not be reached for comment today, told Dallas ABC affiliate WFAA.

But Johnston said neither local police nor American authorities have evidence of a crime where the bodies were found, nor that the men have been reported missing or even that they existed in the first place.

"We were fed a story, and many of us ran with it," Johnston told The Dallas Morning News.

What was false....
They were dead?
Claimed Police officer was not a police officer?
Two bodies were found in river really weren't bodies and really not found or in a river?
Story was fed to them is not true?
Story that it is a lie is fake and they are dead?

This is not example of false reporting as much as reporting based on false information.
In the rush to be first to report any news, the reporters no longer take the time to
verify their sources or information for fear that someone else wil beat them to the story.

There is no truth, only evidence...The jury determines truth or facts.  Science will tell you that.  Evidence is ALWAYS tested and the truth sometimes changes with new evidence.  Even Einstein disagreed with Newton's long accepted theory on gravity.

Only in politics is challenging the consensus reality considered a conspiracy.  I think people are beginning to wake up from their schooling induced stupor, where children are regularly tested to measure their retention of the consensus reality the government curriculum has determined for them.  Thinking and skepticism is not rewarded, only the regurgitation of "facts" as determined by the government.

And we wonder why the country is falling behind the rest of the developed world in intellectuals.  It's because it's discouraged.  They are taught to read or watch the news, believe everything they say, without question, and live your life accordingly.  If you question the consensus reality, you will be labeled a "conspiracy theorist".

Police: Shot reported at Pa. campus was newspaper

Published - Feb 19 2013 08:59AM EST

Associated Press

GETTYSBURG, Pa. (AP) — Police in Pennsylvania say a student's report of a gunshot being fired was instead the sound of a newspaper hitting the sidewalk.

Gettysburg police Chief Joseph Dougherty says a Gettysburg College student had reported that someone in a white sedan fired a shot early Saturday morning. But Dougherty says police investigated and determined the sound came from a newspaper delivery driver throwing a paper from her vehicle.

After the report, the college alerted students and employees via text messages, voicemails and emails. A college spokeswoman says an all-clear message was sent around 8:30 a.m.
