The whole law was stupid and based over a what if, some were scared a terrorist would try to , get this, shoot down a plane with one, just your typical post 9/11 scare tactic by our representatives. So now we have a vet and ex-cop on a rampage and the police are going around shooting civilians before even getting a positive identification. Sad part is some people are cheering for this guy because that is how much the police are now hated and not trusted in this country.
