Yes, you did, you took the statement from a "neighbor" for which you have no idea what the relationship he had with the shooter.  He could have hated this guy for personal reason, he could have hated this guy because of political reasons, kinda like you do.  You took a few sentences from a news report and decided to blame "right wing" talk radio.  Kinda of like you reading the news reports about Adam Lanza and blaming a gun and 30 round clip.

It's funny how you blamed the gun in the Adam Lanza case, but you didn't blame the gun in this case.  Your illogical conclusions are petty consistant.

My conclusion, a derranged man shot a bus driver and kidnapped a child because he was A DERRANGED MAN.

You are correct... My post was based on several press reports from the scene.
Your post was based on opposition to anything that I post.  Your posts on the issue had nothing to do with
any facts from the scene or any where else.  Ya just made em up.

Facts from the scene, yeah we seen facts change over time to fit agendas haven't we.

I don't know.  I'm not paranoid so I don't think so.. .but mistakes may have been made... but with the
information available at the present time... some on the board are already doubting the story... WHY?

Why do they think it's not a valid story???

BECAUSE IT DOESN'T MATCH THEIR AGENDA.  THE RABID RIGHT WILL CAST DOUBT ON ANY STORY
THAT ISN'T FAVORABLE, AND WILL SWEAR BY ANY STORY THAT IS EVEN IF IT COMES FROM THE
SAME SOURCE.

It's called BIAS!  With absolutely NO FACTS other than what is in the press, you doubt the story.  Why?

Box, that isn't a fact, it's a statement.  My post is as accurate as yours, it's an opinion.  You just love to use the word fact when quoting the opinion of a person quoted  by a news outlet.

It is a FACT that several press sources wrote a story stating that the shooter was influenced by Right Wing
Conservative Radio.
They interviewed sources and reported the story.

On the other hand... you have what for your opinion???  An opposing press report?
NO
Another source disputing that story...
again no.

So what do you base your doubts??? The story may eventually turn out to be false... but you seem to
assume that it is untrue... but why??? Paranoia???
Possibly you feel a kinship to this government hater so you identify with this deranged man.

It was a fact that several news sources including police witnesses said the recent school shooter didn't have a AR-15 in the school

There were some outliers in reporting... and this story may turn out to be false too.  I have no reason
to think that it's false, but it may be.
Do you have any reason... any opposing story... any anything that makes you doubt this story so
strongly???
Or is it just that your blinded by your agenda?

I'm not doubting the story, I'm just glad the kid is safe and a wacked out vet is no longer a threat.

I base my doubt on the FACT the opinion was never challenged or vetted for TRUTH.  We do have a system set up that I know you are not a 100% supporter of, which is called due process.  Now what due process would do in a situation like this is allow for the accused to challenge the statement to determine if it is truthful.  The press on the other hand doesn't operate in this manner.  They actually do the opposite, they print a statement made by one person that fits the particular agenda of that news outlet(whether FOX NEWS or the NYT) and slant the reporting so lemmings like you to regurgitate the information as if it is FACTUAL - which it is not.  What it is - is the opinion of a person given to a reporter and printed for mass consumption for the mindless drones.

Again... since you keep bringing up the FACTS of this story... All that I can find online about him is
that he was a NAVY aero mechanic.  They state that he has a Vietnam medal that everyone gets who
serves in a war zone (including Navy Personnel serving aboard a carrier at sea) and a good conduct
medal.
He may have been in country but nothing that I've read so far states that he ever set foot in Vietnam.
Maybe it was your donuts that drove him to kill.. and not the Right Wing Rabid Conservative Hate Radio.

The military taught him how to kill and to do it without remorse, no different then the vet who just murdered 2 others the other day, he to was suffering from PTSD

My opinions come from the same article YOU posted.  As the report stated "he was a decorated Vietnam War veteran who OBVIOUSLY had SERIOUS mental issues"  Now, I don't know about you, but the words OBVIOUSLY AND SERIOUS would be words of opinion by somebody unqualified to make that judgement.  But in the game of pushing a political agenda, I will cherry pick this information to pin the blame on Vietnam, his military training to kill, and his inablility for self control.

Quoted Text
He was a decorated Vietnam War veteran who obviously had serious mental health issues
fed by a constant stream of paranoid anti-government ideology.

Box, IT WAS IN THE ARTICLE YOU POSTED.  Was he decorated for turning a wrench?

Quoted from Box A Rox
"Dykes was a paranoid man who possibly had weeks worth of supplies in his bunker.
The sounds of right wing talk radio could be heard from his home, which seemingly
fueled his anti-government views.
He was obsessed with protecting his property, and is said to have once beaten a dog to
death with a steel pipe. There were also multiple accusations of his threatening to shoot children
for entering his property.

Dykes was also arrested in December for allegedly shooting a gun to frighten a neighbor.
He was a decorated Vietnam War veteran who obviously had serious mental health issues
fed by a constant stream of paranoid anti-government ideology.
These are the sorts of people who should never be allowed firearms. There was tragedy here,
and potential for more, all because a paranoid, mentally ill man had access to weapons."

This guy's profile could fit several on our board:
~ Paranoid
~ Anti Govt Views
~ Right Wing Hate Radio
~ Obsessed with protecting his property
~ Armed and dangerous
~ Mentally ill
