Reality??? I don't see a lot of "REALITY" on this board.

Is a billionaires kids at a greater risk of kidnapping than an average student in the USA???
Unfortunately for the billionaire... that IS the REALITY.

People like Cicero, who is practically an Al Qaeda agent, would love to kill an Obama child to make a
political statement in retaliation for drone strikes that have resulted in other children s deaths. Like
drones or hate them... that IS the REALITY!

The Obituaries are the reality, whether it fits with your Agenda or not.
A famous person or public officials children are a bigger target than an ordinary public school student..and how does the famous or rich person protect them? With armed security.
Even though the public school student is at less risk, the risk is still there. If wasn't, we wouldn't have had Columbine and Newtown. So, if armed security considered an effective deterrent for at higher risk kids, why is it NOT an effective deterrent for public school kids who are at lower risk, but STILL at risk???

LMAO!!!  OK.. YA GOTTA GET A "REALLY?" HERE!

Read your question and this time THINK about your question before you embarrass yourself.

HINT:
Q. How many Americans were killed in the last 10 years compared to how many of AlQaeda's top agents
were killed???
A. Lots more Americans were killed of course...
See?  Being an Alqaeda top commander is safer than being a typical American citizen!
Jezzzzzzzzzz

Really tbird... think before you post.

You got trapped with your own circular logic, Box...and you hate it.. I know it, the rest of the board knows it, and deep down, YOU KNOW IT.

Tbird, if you don't see the difference between the risk involved in the US presidents kids and the risk of
an average school kid in school... nothing that I can do will enlighten you.

All kids IMO have the same value, but not all kids face the same risk.  A child in a terrible neighborhood where
guns in school are a common event is at a greater risk than a kid in a typical suburban school... but even
though the risk is greater to be hit by lightning... there is risk to all kids.

Is there a risk difference? sure there is..
It's greater risk vs lower risk..not NO RISK.

The deterrent that will work on the higher risk will work on the lower risk...that's crystal clear...
The question is, who is worthy of that deterrent? You've made your decision on who is worthy.
I believe everyone, no matter what the amount of risk, should be worthy.

Your post assumes that adding armed guards to schools would necessarily make those schools safer...
Read the opening post of this thread... along with accidental discharges of armed off duty Walmart
security guards, kids in some schools attacking the guard just to get his gun, and a deranged
minimum wage guard going postal and CAUSING a school shooting...
Armed guards in the average school may increase the risk to its kids.

BTW, how much are you willing to pay in additional school district school taxes to pay this guard...
Do want a Minimum Wage off duty Walmart guard...
or an actual trained professional?
The difference may be $100,000.

That's and acceptable risk...They are unimportant and aren't at risk from Al Qaeda.  Only people threatened by Al Qaeda require armed security.  Even though Governor Christie isn't involoved in authorizing drone attacks, his children too are afforded armed security.

9 out of 10 "public figures" agree - armed security is the best security.  Just not for unimportant people.

I know Cicero will consider this post 'blasphemy' but on Sept 11th... All Americans, and even many who
weren't Americans were the target of his favorite group, his buddies at AlQaeda.

Now you're morphing from your premise that armed security in schools puts kids at risk(except for public figure's children), to now armed security for American children is too expensive.  Which is it box?

LOL!  No, only "public figures" are targeted by them.  You just posted that a few posts ago.  That's why their children deserve armed security and the lay people do not.  As a matter of fact, the lay people must be disarmed of certain weapons and clip capacity.  Not the government though, no-no-no, they must be exempted from those laws meant only for the serf, since the government agent is far too important to disarm them.

Sandy Hook may have been a tragedy, but let's put this in perspective and be grateful that these were not the children of the president.  That would have been a true national tradedy that I'm not sure the nation could ever recover from.

Thank God for the guns protecting the presidents children.

If you seriously don't see the difference between Obama's kids or Chris Christie's kids and every other
families kids,  after watching this video, then you will never see the difference.

The rich, famous and public figures seem to think armed guards make their kids safer, otherwise they wouldn't have them. I'll take their word for it.
I would want a professional, of course. Let's go $150,000 including benes... In a town like rotterdam, in school district like Mohonasen..let's be conservative and say 3000 tax paying houses + businesses..four schools (two elementary, middle and high school), so four guards. It amounts to $50 per house X 4, or $200 a year..sign me up....drop one of Mohonasens bloated administrators and it would be even less.

The extreme paranoia on the extreme right.
It was bad enough when irrational voices started gibbering in 2008 about Muslim Obama. You could almost
see the delusions dancing round their heads when they said they were going to “take back America” and
win the 2012 election with ease, only to suffer a crushing defeat. Now, in the wake of the school massacre
in Connecticut, their first thought, their existential fear, revolves not around children, but around the hint
of a challenge to their Second Amendment right to carry assault rifles to bars and schools and even grocery
stores.

Well, not so fast, all you damn liberals and all you rational human beings. You think this is not serious
business?  What about Girl Scout Cookies?

And you think that Obama isn’t up to no good, what with calling for all background checks for all
purchasers in all gun sales? That’s just what them Iranians are waitin’ for, don’t you see?

We do see. We see that paranoia on the right is now fueling paranoia on the right.
~ Rush Limbaugh is making Glenn Beck cry.
~ And Gretchen Carlson is making Steve Doocy wet his pants.
Soon, the people who feed this frenzy will be arguing that we all need thirty-shot clips to defend ourselves
from Girl Scouts going door-to-door selling cookies.

Box doesn't know where to go, every spin attempt failed by his own previous posts, to funny.
