Whoa-Whoa-Whoa!!!  I don't think he "blindly" supported it anymore.  I used to give him the benefit of the doubt that he was young and deceived by our government.  It sounds more and more as if box consciously agreed to accept those orders, not out of being deceived by the U.S. Government, but he believed it was his duty to protect the South Vietnamese puppet government by killing people that were no threat to U.S. citizens.  

You gave sh*t to your country all you did was line the pockets of the MIC, and you have the balls to call yourself a patriot after you attack every natural right we have, you would have been a redcoat back in the day and I'm very serious about that. So what did I do to answer Kenedy's call to service, I live my life without government aid, I live my life cheerishing the rights we do have and will protect them even if I must die doing it. I don't obey unconstitution laws or orders, I won't be used as a pawn for the gains of only a few (cough).

Killing families in their homes without due process is not honorable.

It's despicable.

Too bad he was susceptible to JFK rhetoric.  Now let's look at his famous phrase.  
And so, my fellow Americans: ask not what your country can do for you — ask what you can do for your country.

Now, if you were "serving" your country in response to Kennedy's "ask what you can do for your country".  In the capacity of serving your country, wouldn't there then be somebody asking YOU(or the "country) to do something for them(ie go to Vietnam)?

What a terrible rhetorical trick played on those that joined the military based on that speech.  Convinced to be servants of politicians. Sad

Not the peace corps?  Not Volunteering at the Red Cross, or at a homeless shelter???  
You whine like a baby about paying your taxes... You TAKE all the govt has to offer, and return NOTHING.

Henry lives his life with out govt aid.  We all know that isn't true.  He went to school didn't he?  Who
paid for that? Even in a private school, the govt subsidized his education. Govt funds built and keep
his hospital running and funds much of his doctors education... but Henry is on his own... taking NOTHING!
Henry drives on OUR roads, uses OUR infrastructure... Is protected by OUR Fire and Police...
Yet, he claims to do it all himself... "with out govt aid!"
