OK Henry... All I knew about your Operation Northwoods was from the Bircher Crazy guy, so today, just for you... I looked into it. This is what I found. Lots of reports referring to the event, but very little of actual fact. There is an alleged document from the Pentagon, but most of the stories are about conspiracy nuts linking the Sept 11th attacks to Northwoods.
It was mentioned in the JFK movie by Oliver Stone to sort of collaborate the host of Conspiracy theory's on the JFK shooting.
I found a few sites that had checked out the rumors and labeled them false but they didn't contain any of the actual research to show them false.

Did you read the reason why they think it wasn't written by Americans because they used off for the holidays instead of vacation, somehow off for the holidays is supposed a British term, since when is that? I hear that term every time there is a day off from work. Also the documents can be obtained through the freedom of information act, the link I gave is just that. With such a crazy plan by our government you can see why many truthers and conspiracy theorist would list this as a connection to 9/11, connection or not the documents are disturbing enough and should be a very good reason for Americans to question everything our government does.

Wow Box if only you knew how much we love our country, What we hate is what is happening to it, and not just in the past four years. Our economy is in the toilet, our rights are being taken away, too many people rely on assistance many because there are NO jobs. The citizens of our country are overtaxed, over fee'd, over regulated and our Constitution is under attack. We have undeclared wars, our money goes overseas while we are trillions in debt.
Veterans including MANY in my own family as I'm sure most families here have fought for our rights and freedoms and they are slowly being taken away.
Many have low morals, many have NO respect for others.
If OUR country were under attack by another country on our soil, I and my family would be right out there defending it.
Sadly our Constitution is under attack by the very people who swore to uphold it.

I don't "HATE" veterans. How many times do I have to clarify it? I PITY veterans that were forced to kill in foreign wars against nations that were not an imminent threat to national security. If America was invaded I would be standing side by side with you box, and I'd even put on the government costume so you knew what side I was fighting on. On the other hand, I wouldn't put on the costume and invade Vietnam, Afghanistan, or Iraq and kill them because my government doesn't agree with their political leaders. You see, I am able to discern between the use of defensive force and offensive force.
