How many murders or crimes were committed with 50 caliber rifles? I'll tell you 1 murder in 22 years. Them going after another gun with hardly any violence tied to it should tell you their real goal. Most modern 50 caliber rifles are 25+ pounds and ammo is around $5 and up per bullet, they are used for long range target shooting not criminal acts, no one in their right mind would choose that gun to commit a murder or robbery.

Other than Henry's .50 cal Viagra alternative, I don't know why anyone would WANT one, and surely not NEED one. NOTE TO HENRY'S NEIGHBORS: If Henry were to accidentally fire off a round from this weapon and his neighbor were standing on his deck at the opposite side of the house from Henry, the round could go through the neighbors siding, through his sheetrock, go through a door, through a few wall studs, through a man, then go through the opposite wall and still kill Henry's neighbor. If we were only allowed what we "need", the world would be a very boring place..
There are PLENTY of things we don't "need" that if banned, could save lives... example.. Why are even four cylinder cars capable of going over 70 mph? There's absolutely no reason for it as the engine can be designed to accelerate fully for merging, etc, and have a hard mph limit...You'd actually save more lives because accident deaths caused by speeds above 70 mph are much greater in number than any deaths via a .50 cal rifle

For comparison... From the right (the smallest one shown) is a 22 LR. Second from the right is a.223 Rem. similar to Henry's assault rifle caliber. The third from the right, a .308, and forth from the right, a 30-06, both popular deer rounds. Lastly, the huge bullet on the LEFT is the round that Henry really really really needs. A .50.
50's were often mounted in aircraft to shoot down other aircraft. They were mounted on trucks to take out the motor of enemy vehicles. They were mounted on the ground and ships to shoot down enemy aircraft... and Henry NEEDS one. Can anyone tell me why Henry NEEDS THIS CALIBER???

I have no use for it box but other long range shooters do, I can shoot reliably past 1000 yards but other shooters who have the funds and the right system like to go further out even past a mile shot. I would love to have one but can't afford it, besides there are better rounds out now, ever hear of the 416 or the 338 LUPUA, those to can reach out past a mile with great accuracy, should we ban those to? What is it about the 50 that scares you?

I've probably shot at 500 to 800 rounds from a .50 in live fire demonstrations. They make a lot of noise, they are slow and they go through lots of stuff before stopping. I may want nitroglycerin, I might want a garage full of live Cobras, I might want to buy a nuclear bomb... But Why Would I??? Terrorism? Mass shootings? Henry's coming Race War? A wild rhino is loose in my neighborhood???
