So do the people who promote this behavior... the NRA.

The NRA does not promote unsafe handling of weapons.

So does Adam Lanza's MOM!

Like I said, stupidity is self correcting.

Leaving her guns unattended was the last stupid thing she will do.

The very atmosphere of firearms anywhere and everywhere restrains evil interference - they deserve a place of honor with all that's good.
George Washington

It will be found an unjust and unwise jealousy to deprive a man of his natural liberty upon the supposition he may abuse it.
George Washington

I predict future happiness for Americans if they can prevent the government from wasting the labors of the people under the pretense of taking care of them.
Thomas Jefferson

Experience hath shewn, that even under the best forms of government those entrusted with power have, in time, and by slow operations, perverted it into tyranny.
Thomas Jefferson

No freeman shall be debarred the use of arms.
Thomas Jefferson

The spirit of resistance to government is so valuable on certain occasions that I wish it to be always kept alive.
Thomas Jefferson

They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety.
Benjamin Franklin

Never forget that everything Hitler did in Germany was legal.
Martin Luther King, Jr.

When you are right you cannot be too radical; when you are wrong, you cannot be too conservative.
Martin Luther King, Jr.

America will never be destroyed from the outside. If we falter and lose our freedoms, it will be because we destroyed ourselves.
Abraham Lincoln

This country, with its institutions, belongs to the people who inhabit it. Whenever they shall grow weary of the existing government, they can exercise their constitutional right of amending it, or exercise their revolutionary right to overthrow it.
Abraham Lincoln

We the people are the rightful masters of both Congress and the courts, not to overthrow the Constitution but to overthrow the men who pervert the Constitution.
Abraham Lincoln

By your response, I can assume you support my Constitutional RIGHT to drive 100 MPH on your street,
even if doing so endangers your kids.

philosophy; that is, the search for a superior moral justification for selfishness.

Driving is NOT a Constitutional right, it's a priveledge.

And when someone does something stupid like reckless driving or driving under the influence than that priveledge should be taken away from that person.

When a deranged evil individual takes the life of one or many THAT person is responsible.

But the action of that one should NOT affect OUR Constitutional rights.

I'll try again:
"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise
thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech,"...
The US Constitution.

MY religion (that I just invented, and I AM free to invent my own religion) clearly states that I don't have to
obey mans law... just the law of MY GOD.
My God says that I don't have to obey speed limits.  It's my constitutional rights (as I see them) so I will
do 100 mph on your street, even if your kids are in danger, because IT'S UNCONSTITUTIONAL FOR ANYONE
TO TELL ME TO DO ANYTHING AGAINST MY RELIGION.

Carrying an assault weapon with a 100 round drum IS NOT
A CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHT!

No.  I do too, every time I hear some GunHugger say ... "Any restriction on guns is Unconstitutional,"
when the actual FACTS say just the opposite!

actually driving IS a right...as a society we used rhetoric to call it a privilege

those who control the $$ control the masses
those who control the guns control the masses
those who control the energy sources control the masses
those who control the transportation control the masses
those who control the legislation control the masses
those who control the higher education control the masses

etc etc etc

Is there a relationship between a man’s penis size, and whether they carry a handgun
or assault rifle?
It’s a valid question.   I see it all the time in life, where those who are the most insecure are
ALWAYS the ones who try to puff themselves up and make themselves look more important than
they really are.  The most insecure people are the ones who feel the need to brag.  The most
insecure people are the ones who feel the need to discriminate against other human beings who
aren't the “same”.
