Here is the plan. Republicans agenda, when there were Republicans, was to 'starve' the entitlement system. Deny the beast sustenance, tax dollars. The concept of abolishing the entitlement system appeals to me but the methodology was doomed to failure.
The Republicans could not resist spending on 'their' entitlement programs. Corporate welfare, boondoggle military industrial complex & yes, Medicare scripts. If the Republicans had stayed true to their values they might have succeeded. By trying to live in two worlds Republicans guaranteed Democrats a victory. "No man can serve two masters", nor can a politician, for long. Republicans not only lost the election, they lost their soul.
Democrats agenda is to spend US into bankruptcy. Break the bank, destroy the value of currency, make US all equal, dependent on a centralized government.
Republicans put their trust in the greed of a few, the Democrats put their trust in the greed of the many. Guess we know who's formula was successful.
FDR, the New Deal is viewed as the starting point of the welfare state, social progressive, entitlement, socialism, call it what you will. Yes, the New Deal was socialism masked as something else. The beginning of the entitlement culture was when America ceased to be an agrarian nation. "Cant keep the boys down on the farm" had a double meaning.
America is doing a three step dance, what is taking place now is the third step. Those of my generation were taught in geography & history that geography made history. This is the fundamental that has defined man since before recorded history. In the 'new world order' it is people, humanity that is seen as a natural resource. When personnel offices became human resources I knew the corner had been turned. Before I retired people started to refer to me as a "resource", I resisted. I retired early!
The world I was born into championed the individual. The world today champions the collective "human resource". I made my choice a long time ago, most reading this letter will have no choice. That is another fundamental character of the new world order, no choice.
Jesus was sold for thirty pieces of silver. We have sold ourselves for FREE STUFF. That was man's last choice & it was the wrong choice.
