I would really like to know why body armor is illegal for non-cops.

I don't think it is yet in NY but I have heard they did want to ban it, as for why who the hell knows, well it is already well know they don't want us to protect ourselves so maybe that is why. Maybe box can answer it better and tell you why you don't need it but cops do

Teflon coating doesn't make a bullet 'armor piercing'.  That's gun grabber propaganda.

Everything about those were propaganda including the term cop killer, but the facts won't stop people from continuing the lies to further the agenda.

It isn't.

The Second Most Powerful Gun Lobby in the Country is Located in Newtown, Conn.

Quoted Text
The massacre at Sandy Hook Elementary in Newtown, Conn. happened in the shadow of the
headquarters of one of the biggest gun lobbies in the country: the National Shooting Sports
Foundation, which is just three miles away from the school. The NSSF pales in both stature
and power to the NRA, but they still actively work to ease laws and regulations for gun owners
and supporters.
the NSSF spent $26,000 this campaign season and is frequently consulted by reporters writing
facile "he said stories to give a pro-gun point of view". The foundation takes in $26 million per
year and its CEO makes over $300,000 per year.

I bet they are proud of keeping Assault Weapons in Newtown!

What does "23 richest countries" have to do with anything?  That's odd.

It must be more statistic manipulation to accentuate his argument.

Security Guard Shoots Off His Penis

Quoted Text
A security guard is hospitalized in the city of San Fernando in the Republic of Trinidad and
Tobago after accidentally discharging his weapon and shooting off his penis. According to the
Trinidad and Tobago Guardian, the unnamed 33-year-old man was carrying a .38 caliber handgun
in his pocket when it went off, striking him in the groin.

Police in the town of Rio Claro received a call around 8:00 a.m. on Sunday that witnesses had
heard a shot coming from a parked car. Officers responding to the scene found the driver slumped
at the wheel and bleeding from the injured area.

The wounded man was taken to San Fernando General Hospital where he remains under guard.
Authorities ran a trace on him and found that he did not possess a license for the gun he was
carrying. He faces charges of illegal possession of a firearm and ammunition.

Unfortunately, these types of accidents are not uncommon. The Digital Journal listed reports
of accidental gunshot wounds to the penis and testicles in Arizona and Washington state, as
well as an incident from September in Port Lucie, Florida in which a man cleaning a newly purchased
gun at a party shot himself in the genitals.

"Since the horrific Newtown shooting, where 20 children were gunned down by a semi-automatic rifle,
the NRA’s reaction has been swift and defensive. It’s video games, they say. It’s movies, they say.
It’s not about the guns, they say, it’s about the fact that a bunch of crazy people have guns.
Oh, wait.

Well, the NRA isn't completely deaf to the needs of the children. In fact, they are creating a special
campaign designed around the little folk:
silencers, to protect their hearing — because the noise is what’s really dangerous about guns."

No Shadow... JUST MORE OF THE NRA WITH BLOOD ON THEIR HANDS.
You obviously didn't read the link:

Quoted Text
It should surprise no one that the NRA has recently thrown its weight behind an industry
campaign to deregulate and promote the use of silencers.

Under the trade banner of the American Silencer Association, manufacturers have come together
with the support of the NRA to rebrand the silencer as a safety device belonging in every
all-American gun closet.
