You're right Box, we don't need to carry an AR-15 but if some people want to carry one they should have the right to carry one if they pass the background checks.

We don't need a flame thrower or a tank but a 105 recoiless rifle would be nice.

Why do  you limit my 2nd amendment right to bear arms by disarming me from owning a tank or a flame thrower...
just ask L4Life... I may need them if the power goes out!

you can have whatever you want....use it stupidly and BAM! punishment....that's the punitive nature of government..
which is much more trust worthy than the pleb control with behavior modifications/manipulations

...you are a product of your environment, your environment is a product of your priorities, your priorities are a product of you......

The replacement of morality and conscience with law produces a deadly paradox.

"No one is saying they need to carry an ar-15"
Good.  We don't.

Except the cops.

Your government is now patrolling the streets in Arkansas with AR-15s in their hands.

I wonder why they feel the need for AR-15s?

If there is a threat requiring AR-15s for safety, all citizens should be carrying them in Arkansas.

Arkansas Town to Unleash SWAT-Style Force to Patrol Streets, Question Citizens

Crime has gotten so out of hand in Paragould, Arkansas, that local leaders have decided to deploy police wearing SWAT-like uniforms and brandishing semiautomatic rifles on city streets.

Mayor Mike Gaskill and Police Chief Todd Stovall told residents at a recent town hall meeting that putting heavily-armed cops on patrol was the best way to curb crime in the town of 26,000.

“[Police are] going to be in SWAT gear and have AR-15s around their neck,” Stovall said, according to the Paragould Daily Press. “If you’re out walking, we’re going to stop you, ask why you’re out walking, check for your ID.”

Citizens who don’t comply may be charged with obstructing a governmental operation, according to Stovall. For “people who buck us…we are prepared to throw your hind-end in jail,” he promised.

Stovall insisted that there will be no profiling, that any citizen could face being stopped. The police chief said “fear” was “the reason to do this.”

Legal advice apparently was not sought before making the decision. When asked if his plan was different from imposing martial law, Stovall said he wasn’t sure if there was a difference.

I could have sworn you were pro-choice. What the hell happened?

Your chart clearly displays that gun deaths have remained steady and auto deaths have declined,
that's the reason for the change.

You want to force others to have no choice because you choose to make their choice for them.

The law abiding citizens should not be penalized for the actions of criminals and crazies.

The  number of assault rifle deaths has not changed.

The number of hysterical little girls demanding Obama keep them safe has.

How does a veteran marine turn out to become a hysterical little coward of a little girl?

~You are 'happy' with the number of assualt rifle deaths?

The number of hysterical little girls demanding Obama keep them safe has.
~The number of "hysterical little girls"?  Is that a number that you keep track of?

How does a veteran marine turn out to become a hysterical little coward of a little girl?
~I would have no idea.  I don't know of any 'coward little girl' Marines.

they want tougher laws for 'mental health patients' before they can own a gun or even to check their home to make sure they
dont have one in the home....

hhhhmmmmmm......THIS OPENS A VERY VERY VERY BIG CAN OF WORMS......

don't go to the doctor....remember HIPPA.....if a mental health patient you don't have full access to your mental health records
but the government does....

go tell the MD you feel depressed, get an anti-depressant...BAM.....you're on 'the list'....

this is a very very very bad line we will cross....

UTOPIAN SOCIAL ENGINEERING AT IT'S WORST......

a 500% increase since 1991 in the use of ADD/ADHD drugs in the fu(king public schools......THAT'S A DIAGNOSIS FOR A WHOLE
GENERATION....SHAME SHAME SHAME.......

...you are a product of your environment, your environment is a product of your priorities, your priorities are a product of you......

It will also create a lot of future problems with the long term use of those drugs.
