and my thinking is that this could have gone any which way if she had a gun- he might be dead or she might be dead.

In that situation I would bet anyone would of rather preferred being armed, she had no chance at defending herself with a man of that size and being defenseless almost got her killed. I'm happy they caught the scumbag though, I hope he fries.

Take your beating and hope for the best.  Guns are scary and dangerous.  Be a good docile American and do not resist.  If you are getting beat within an inch of your life - turn the other cheeks, that's what Jesus would do.

Jesus died for a cause he believed in, a couple bucks and a TV isn't a cause I'm dying for any time soon

Don't know how many but it does happen, if you are armed you don't want the suspect anywhere near you, you do what you have to do to survive.

Appeals court rejects lawsuit against NY state's new gun law

Quoted Text
A mid level state court has rejected claims that New York’s new gun law violates the state Constitution
because it was passed too quickly and restricts the rights of a citizen militia.

The Appellate Division decision Wednesday upheld a judge’s ruling that state law generally prohibits judicial
review of Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s justification for pushing the bill quickly through the Legislature on Jan. 15,
instead of waiting the three days usually required.

Yea... sucks when that happens.  Same thing today in Texas where the GOP is pushing through it's latest
GOP War On Women's Rights anti Choice bill.

Who cares who does it, it is wrong to pass something without giving the people some time to voice their opinions. But this once again proves we are not the government, they do things behind our backs especially if it is unconstitutional, what makes it worse is that our checks and balances which is the courts turn a blind eye. America the free my a$$.

Ummm.  IT'S NOT UNCONSTITUTIONAL.  (but saying it over and over again gives Henry the impression
that it is!)

Why because a corrupt court says so, don't think so. They showed their colors and they made themselves just as useless as the rest of the government. The time is already here when the people says what goes no matter what the courts or politicians say, their grasp at power over the people is being ignored because nobody takes them serious anymore, all they have left is force which is a sign of a tyrannical government losing its control over the people. This is why we have people like Snowden who will risk everything to show the world our corruption and tyrannical actions, the people already had hints but now it is out for all to see.

Kind of reminds me of this song, "and you point your finger but there's no one around"

"In the beginning of a change, the Patriot is a scarce man, brave, hated and scorned. When his cause succeeds, however, the timid join him, for then it costs nothing to be a Patriot."

Which is why Henry is arming for the coming war against his own government.

Kansas Schools Lose Insurance Over New Gun Law

Quoted Text
A new Kansas law allowing gun owners to carry weapons in public buildings, including schools, has
thrust a major insurer into the national gun control debate, USA Today reports.

"The EMC Insurance Cos. insures 85 percent to 90 percent of all Kansas school districts and has
refused to renew coverage for schools that permit teachers and custodians to carry concealed
firearms on their campuses under the new law, which took effect July 1. It's not a political decision,
but a financial one based on the riskier climate it estimates would be created, the insurer said."
