The modern conservative is engaged in one of man's oldest exercises in moral
philosophy; that is, the search for a superior moral justification for selfishness.

The profits are used for education.

Sure they are.

Cuomo wants cash strapped school districts to combine.

Too bad an 'assault weapon' wasn't used in Sandyhook.

Please feel free to continue your "They love guns more than children" campaign.

Nobody bought it except the idiot Cuomo, and even now he's backing off.

No assault weapons were used at Sandy Hook.

So take your propaganda and beat yourself senseless with it.

Sandy Hook anti gun hype = failed

How A Patient's Suicide Changed A Doctor's Approach To Guns

Quoted Text
Suicide prevention researcher Dr. Matthew Miller, at the Harvard School of Public Health,
says Dumont sounds like a great doctor. "He was doing everything he could to try to keep this
guy from making a suicide attempt, but what he didn't do was the second step, which is make
it hard for him to die if he did make an attempt," Miller says.

The second step, Miller says, is asking patients if they have guns in the house or access to guns.
If someone tries to commit suicide without using a gun, they probably won't succeed.

"The likelihood of their dying is of an order of magnitude lower," he says. "Instead of there
being a 90-plus percent chance of death, there's a greater than 90 percent chance that
they'll live."

Therefore, using your box of BS logic, all items that can help a person commit suicide must be banned.

Idiot.

Worst reasoning ever.

If someone wants to leave this world that should be up to the person, I think it is selfish to keep someone here against their will and to deny them the fastest and easiest escape.

Box wants to hold gun owners hostage for the suiciders.

And yes, if you f'ing care so much about suicides, get rid of the 2 leading causes,
police jobs and the military.

That will also get rid of more than half the guns, so box will be happy.

I somewhat agree with you Henry.  But there are many suicides that should be prevented, especially
when the person is not thinking rationally.
Many teen and young adult's suicide are done on a whim... a bad break up and they end their life.
If the suicide attempt is interrupted or fails, the teen never commits suicide.

For some people, especially at end of life situations or with untreatable painful or progressive
disease, an assisted suicide is an act of kindness.
