Human error??? A 5 year old with his own .22 access to a swimming pool?  That isn't an error, it's stupidity!  Anyone who
would allow a child access to a gun swimming pool is an idiot.  There are laws against kids in a car without a seatbelt
but no laws against a 3, 4 or 5 year old with his own gun.  Ridiculous...and all so that some macho gun
slinging @sshole GunHugger
swimmer can look cool with his AR 15 pool.
Explain to those 322 kids killed since Sandy Hook about how important your
2nd amendment  swimming rights are...
I'm sure their parents will appreciate it.

Your argument lost...Get over it.

My argument lost???
I think not.
Reasonable gun control laws are the will of the people... and will eventually pass.  Much like
early battles over a woman's right to choose, also the will of the people.
One battle in this war, where there was no progress forward, but also no ground given.

The vast majority of Americans (even the majority of NRA Members) support reasonable gun laws...
Many who vote against it will find themselves on the  wrong side of history come election day.

The modern conservative is engaged in one of man's oldest exercises in moral
philosophy; that is, the search for a superior moral justification for selfishness.

There are manyy ways a person can die- drowning is certainly one way, shark attacks and even vending machines can kill you. A car is a machine designed to get from one place to another- but because of its weight and speed can kill also.

A gun is a tool designed for one thing only - its primary purpose is to kill. Is using a swimming pool realy a good analogy?  Really?

Crashed and burned.

Gun control is a lost cause.

All you idiots have accomplished is you have turned millions of Americans towards the
Republican party to put a stop to your rights trampling efforts.

Your hype and fanning the flames of hysteria are nothing but scare tactics to grab personal freedoms by the balls.

Is is exactly the proper analogy.

Guns are not made to kill children.

Swimming pools aren't either.

They are both recreational sports that cause death and injury when used improperly.

Swimming, however, kills 5 times as many children as guns..

Somebody... If you use 'logic' and 'reason' it will just confuse them further.  They only understand
emotion and especially the emotion of fear... facts are disregarded as irrelevant.

Hysterical freedom trampling whiners against gun rights.

The parents of the dead kids who drowned probably appreciate your ignoring their issue and going after guns,
which is a much smaller issue.

Guns are SPECIFICALLY made to kill. Swimming pool to SWIM? vending machinesfor VENDING? a gun can be used for fun but it is a tool desiged for killing.

What's the difference when the outcome are the same? The only difference is pools and toys kill more kids then guns do, I don't blame pools and toys for their higher death count I blame human error. Why isn't there anti-pool groups or anti-toy groups, because there is no political agenda for it, but throw in a gun death and all of a sudden its a worse tragedy then a kid who choked to death or drowned

Guns are a tool.

A tool that can save lives.

Guns save lives every day.

Sure guns kill.

Killing with guns is allowable on animals most of the time, and people under certain conditions.

The argument is that 40 kids died from guns since sandy hook.

The counter argument is that 322 kids died from swimming during that same time period.

Plus that was the winter.

In a rational world, the worst issue would be brought to light, then the next most dangerous sport,
and so on.

Gun grabbing freedom hating agenda demanders are using the dead kids as a weapon to force the
government to address the minor issue, while ignoring the major issue.

Gun control freaks are rabid over guns, not over deaths.

That deals the death blow to their hypocritical cause.

Government agents never carry swimming pools.  Who do they want to kill?  Or do you believe government has a monopoly on violence?

I think that Somebody and I agree on the inappropriateness of this entire view...

If cars kill kids at a greater number than swimming pools do... we should ignore Pools????
Does that lack of logic work for you???

If an easy, inexpensive solution could be found to prevent the death of every child in a swimming pools,
(by this convoluted logic) we should ignore the swimming pool solution BECAUSE MORE KIDS DIE IN
CARS.

If more kids die from car accidents than they do from cancer... and we have some solutions to
childhood cancer.... we should ignore those solutions until we find a solution for car deaths.

If more kids die from car wrecks than they do from poisoning... and we have a cure for all childhood
poisons... we should let those children die from poision until such time as we can find a remedy for
car wreck deaths.

How backasswards does this thinking have to get before a semi intelligent being can see through this
argument???
(apparently pretty backwards)

How many posts have you made about pool deaths or choking deaths? 0 that is how many. How many have you made about gun deaths 15-20, don't tell me your agenda is about saving kids. I have stated numerous times all gun owners should take classes and teach their kids gun safety and proper care, you instead just want to bash all gun owners because it fits your anti-2nd amendment agenda. If you have kids and want to take them swimming you would teach them how to swim 1st would you not, it is no different then guns, not teaching them could be fatal.

Henry they don't realize that some people like to shoot competitive skeet, combat courses against the clock, pistol shooting for speed and accuracy, as well as hunting and self defense.
