Okay, I'll admit lack of knowledge on the topic...what do the hunting laws address
besides safety?  I know there are certain seasons for the weapons, etc., but not
sure I would consider that an intrusion on rights of hunters, rather than an
inconvenience. I beleive some of that seaonal restrictions is also related to
safety of hunting.

Really? You wouldn't call seasonal hunting restrictive?

Try eating only in the fall.

Corporations are handed entire forests to decimate.

The deer population is way out of hand in NY state. They cause accidents every day, but hunting
is limited to one per year and only during certain times.

Feeding your family should not be a licensed or restricted activity. That is Bloomberg-ism.

How the hell is charging me for hunting and fishing licenses a safety issue?

Why is raising deer for food illegal?

Social engineering serves to protect corporate food sources.

It is a taking away of liberty and the use of force against people wishing only to hunt and fish for food.

You watch movies about people being arrested in old England for daring to hunt on the King's lands.

Here we call it wildlife management. The Empire Sate has replaced the king.

Acid rain has left 25% of all lakes in NYS dead. You can try to fish all day, but the fish aren't there.

Corporations are allowed to trash the environment for fun and profit, but individuals are restricted
and regulated.

The only hunting laws about safety is where you can hunt. The rest is taxation, regulation and
restriction by socialist thugs with guns. (Communists)

kind of like flying is purported to be soooooooooooooo important....look around your neighborhood and let me
know how many folks are frequent fliers....and by that definition how many fly every other month if not every month..

only the corporate travelers too far down on the list to hitch a ride on the private jet....

it all looks so busy in the sky and makes news but in all actuality it's a minority of the American population...

kind of like hunting to feed your family....the fallacy is 'over population of humans'...

does anyone know how much energy it takes to stalk/kill/gut/butcher a deer takes.....way to much to do it over and over
and over again, just for fun....the laws don't prevent the 'crazy deer fun-killers'.....

not to mention how much less obesity/joint disease/heart disease/alzheimers etc there would be just by sustaining
one's self........

flying--done by less than we are lead to believe
hunting--more food to sustain one's self than we are led to believe

those who control the trade control the masses
those who control the food supply control the masses
those who control the transportation control the masses
etc etc etc.....

we call this civilized

...you are a product of your environment, your environment is a product of your priorities, your priorities are a product of you......

The replacement of morality and conscience with law produces a deadly paradox.

Since you brought it up, since the invention of the airplane, the entire industry was taken
ownership by the government, designating certain corporations or persons to have exclusive
rights to air travel. The FAA is the air travel mafia. Only those who pay the mafia get to
partake.

Same thing applies to the invention of radio and tv. Government protectionism limited
the growth of the industries, giving corporations total control over all airwaves. Even though
the technology has been available for anyone to broadcast and receive worldwide since the
40s, it has been exclusive domain for government protected entities. Again, regular citizens
were banned by law from participation. If not for patent and copyright laws we would have
had the world wide web in 1950. 100 years later and radio is still not free to use by the
public.

Any invention capable of making money off of, has been rationed and allowed only to specified
entities, to be used under government authority to gain advantage over all others. Every industry
uses the same exact method. Free trade and open competition has been outlawed from the minute
any new idea is born. So corporate entities grew rich, while America has deteriorated to record low
levels. Today all manufacturing is done off-shore and most American businesses are service type
businesses. The American people have been milked by rationed technology and corporate
greed for a century. It's no wonder unemployment is high and the number of poor have grown
steadily. Now as the government at every level is nearly bankrupt, they turn to the victims to bail
out corporations, assume the massive debt of the government and raise taxes on all non-corporate
entities.

From DC to Schenectady, the actions have been the same. they just keep spending more and more,
but they will never charge those who have received the majority of government handouts. The
corporations. As society declines steadily the corporate world and the stock markets rise to record
levels.

Every new market invented, gets protection and is restricted to non-personal use for profit.

Patents and copyrights were intended for inventors to recoup their investment before allowing
open competition. It has progressed to the point where technology is rationed until every last
dollar can be extracted, then they release a couple new features and the cycle repeats.

You pay super high prices for items that can be produced for next to nothing.

Producing things for society at reasonable costs is prohibited. They call it infringement.

It is not infringement, it is open competition and free trade.

Both restricted and/or prohibited by law.

Name an industry,

They are all protected from competition and allowed to operate by government
licensed entities only.

Gambling, transportation, telecommunications, alcohol, etc. The list is infinite.

As each industry is banned from personal use for profit and industries have
moved off-shore, it is inevitable that society would run out of ways to make
enough money to support itself along with the corporate empire.

The only industries growing are those of which enforce the laws and regulations,
against personal use for profit.

The super database background check will inevitably result in a 2 new watch lists.

One list of those who should not be allowed to ever touch a gun,

and another that is a list of all guns, owners and ammunition.

Both lists needing further government scrutiny.

The founding fathers did not have this in mind when they wrote the Constitution.

Part of being a gun owner is knowing and respecting the serious responsibilities that come with the constitutional right to own a firearm. A large part of the National Rifle Association’s platform is dedicated to promoting gun safety.

The NRA promotes three basic, must-follow gun safety rules:

1. ALWAYS keep the gun pointed in a safe direction. A safe direction means that the gun is pointed so that even if it were to go off it would not cause injury or damage.

2. ALWAYS keep your finger off the trigger until ready to shoot. When holding a gun, rest your finger on the trigger guard or along the side of the gun. Until you are actually ready to fire, do not touch the trigger.

3. ALWAYS keep the gun unloaded until ready to use. Whenever you pick up a gun, immediately engage the safety device if possible, and, if the gun has a magazine, remove it before opening the action and looking into the chamber(s) which should be clear of ammunition.

Why do we bring this up, other than to remind responsible gun owners to continue handling their firearms safely?

Well, New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg is spending about $12 million to produce and air anti-gun attack ads aimed at pressuring U.S. senators to support national gun control legislation. One of the actors that stars in two of the anti-gun ads, supposedly a “responsible,” Second-Amendment supporting gun owner, breaks all three basic gun safety rules, according to the Washington Times.

Bloomberg’s organization, Mayors Against Illegal Guns, recently unveiled two ads that show the supposed gun owner holding a shotgun while wearing plaid flannel with a camouflage hat and sitting on a truck’s tailgate. Children can be seen swinging on a tire behind him when he says, “I support comprehensive background checks so criminals and the dangerously mentally ill can’t buy guns.”

Watch the two videos and see if you can spot where these important safety rules were violated:

Do Michael Bloomberg’s Anti-Gun Ads Violate All 3 of the NRA’s Basic Gun Safety Rules? Here’s the Evidence

Mar. 25, 2013 10:45pm Jason Howerton

The Washington Times’ Emily Miller explains:

The first rule is to always keep the gun pointed in a safe direction. In this case, the children are playing in the yard. Although the viewers can’t see what is to the side of the truck, the man should be pointing the muzzle in the air or at the ground.

The second NRA rule is always keep your finger off the trigger until ready to shoot.

In the ad “Responsibility,” the man has his finger on the trigger, as if ready to shoot. While doing this, he says, “I believe in the Second Amendment, and I’ll fight to protect it. But with rights come responsibilities.” To make an ad demonstrating actual gun responsibility, the man would put a straight forefinger above the trigger guard to make sure he doesn’t accidentally touch the trigger.

The third NRA safety rule is always keep the gun unloaded until ready to use. This means a situation in which the gun is available for immediate use — such as when hunting and a deer could step out at any time or when the firearm is safely stored but ready for quick self-defense as needed.

While saying this, he holds the pump-action shotgun with the action (bolt) closed, so it is impossible to know if it is loaded. To make this a demonstration of safety, the bolt would be wide open to demonstrate that it is unloaded.

As Miller also points out, if Bloomberg really wants to save lives from guns, he should use some of the $12 million he is spending on anti-gun ads to ensure those ads are promoting basic gun safety

Just sweep away any responsiblity for those kids... and for the next batch of kids your agenda is
lining up in their sights... Your Right to bear arms does not superscede their Right to life, and you
know it.
