Those 47% of course are the poor, grandma and grandpa living on a pension, children, the disabled... but they DO PAY ALL THE TAX THE LAW REQUIRES.

I don't know any "Birchers", but I would imagine they would recommend you not to pay taxes either. So I don't see that as some kind of grand conspiratorial scam, because you would think they would be encouraging others to pay taxes while they didn't.
I wonder if that applies to tax dodging poor like Buffett, also Geitner, Kerry, Rangel, Dodd, and many more employed by the Federal Government both Reps and Dems? Shouldn't they pay their taxes too and not wait until they get caught or appointed to a position in government before they pay up?

Number of Tax-Delinquent Government Workers Up 11.5% By Richard Rubin - Mar 8, 2013 3:03 PM ET The number of tax-delinquent federal workers and retirees increased by 11.5 percent in 2011, according to Internal Revenue Service data.
The delinquency rate rose to 3.2 percent from 2.9 percent the previous year. The 311,566 delinquent taxpayers owe a total of $3.5 billion in federal taxes, according to the IRS data released today.
Among large executive branch agencies, the Department of Housing and Urban Development had the highest percentage of delinquent workers at 4.4 percent. The Treasury Department, which includes the IRS, had the lowest, at 1.1 percent.
Employees of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System had a 5.6 percent delinquency rate, while active-duty military had a 2 percent rate.
Federal employees are more compliant in paying taxes than the U.S. population as a whole. According to the IRS, 8.2 percent of the population was delinquent on their federal taxes at the end of fiscal 2011, up from 7.8 percent the year before.
The delinquency rate at the Executive Office of the President was 2.1 percent, while the rates for employees of the U.S. House of Representatives and the Senate were 3.7 percent and 3.3 percent, respectively.
Highest Rates The highest delinquency rates among federal employees were at two small agencies -- the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights and the Morris K. Udall Scholarship and Excellence in National Environmental Policy Foundation. Both had a 9.1 percent delinquency rate, or four people at the rights commission and five at the scholarship foundation.
The House passed a bill last year that would require the government to fire federal workers who are “seriously delinquent” in paying their taxes. The bill, sponsored by Representative Jason Chaffetz, a Utah Republican, passed 263- 114, and didn’t advance in the Senate.

Pew Research Center survey of 1,504 adults conducted Feb. 13-18, ~ 54% said stricter laws would reduce the number of deaths caused by mass shootings, ~ 43% said new laws would not make a difference.
The poll showed that the majority of gun owners in the USA are white men who are Republican or lean Republican. (no surprise there)
Americans in rural areas tend to own guns more often than those in suburban and urban areas. Of those surveyed, 39% in rural areas said they personally owned a gun, as opposed to 24% who live in the suburbs 18% who live in urban areas.
So it appears that urban areas, where there is the most crime, has the least gun owners... In the burbs and rural areas, where there is the least crime, has the most gun owners.

I thought it was all about gun crime, not who owns the guns??? This poll isn't worth the paper it's written on... ALL they can verify are the LEGAL gun owners, and ones that are willing to admit they have guns. Since over 90% of gun crime is committed with ILLEGALLY obtained guns, I'll print this out and line my birds cage with it.
