Christmas verses 2012 Mayan Calendar. On 12/21/2012 something may or may not occur, out of the ordinary. If something good occurs it will go unnoticed. If something perceived as negative happens, it must be the Mayan prophecy.
Christmas celebrates the birth of Jesus who became the Christ. Jesus Christ was the greatest soul to be born of woman. Christ promises eternal salvation. The Mayan 'promise' is wrapped in doom & gloom. There is the epoch thing of a new world rising, full of promise. This may occur & if it does, so be it.
Jesus was tempted by Satan, Satan 'promised' Jesus the world if he Jesus paid homage to Satan. Jesus chose eternal life by way of a spiritual path. President Obama will give US FREE STUFF if we only turn in our liberties for a 'chip'.
The neutering of American History in a social progressive education system has denied future generations of the appreciation of liberty. They just want FREE STUFF. If you never experienced the exhalation of supporting yourself how do you know what you are missing. Ditto liberty.
The FREE STUFF is a means to a end. The end is total control. Once control has been achieved the needy will become a liability. They will be enslaved literary or done away with. Who in their right mind expects a government with total control to tolerate any minority that does not 'serve the greater good'? The means Obama & his Chicago mob used to gain power is the true indication of what is in their heart & mind. It is ugly, not altruistic.
Life is an endless cycle of choices. Some choices are a learning experience, others doom or bless US.
Mayan 2012 is a learning experience at best, Christmas is a blessing, Obama is enslavement for generations to come, The Christ is eternal freedom. The choice is clear between the darkness & light, good & evil. One of God's gifts to US is the freedom of choice, a mixed blessing at times but a blessing none the less.
I believe in a better life beyond this one someday but have no doubt what I do in this life does alter the experience in the hereafter. I chose Christmas over the Mayan thing. How about you?
