Staff on lockdown?   Meaning no going home to family?   LOL

Perhaps wiretap their homes to restrict communication (verbal) between family members of staff with staff?   Or neighbors of staff with staff?    LOL

I mean, when a school goes on lock down, no one enters, no one leaves.

Well, is the assessor/assessor's office in trouble over the fiasco with Schenectady city and the $200,000+ taxpayer paid Morris?

I think someone is on lock down from his lies too, no posts in several days

Optimists close their eyes and pretend problems are non existent.
Better to have open eyes, see the truths, acknowledge the negatives, and
speak up for the people rather than the politicos and their rich cronies.

When your family owns the 'business' (in this case ROTTENdam town hall) you'll always have a job.
JM wasn't asked to come back due to his knowledge of the job....that's a given.

C'mon he is busy covering up Fat Morris's double star. And not answering reporter's calls.
He knew about it for years and did nothing. You pay not Fat Morris. He's still working together-lol.

A little history for the young  members

JM's dad - past assessor, old draper grad, liked keeping  lifers assessments at the  low low  1950's  levels and  relied on the  equalization rate to tax the sh*t out  new  residents   also served as a town board membet and was very effective at keeping royterdam in the dark ages

he got his son a nice job  catering to some state  muckity   muck and got   caught with his pants around his ankles running a gambling ring on the tax payers dime,  following which he took over dads job   as assessor
He then got the boot by a rep town board and shuffled over to guilderland , FDG hired him to helphim fluff the retirement acct but last year guilderland had the town police escort him out the door

None of the above is hear say all in the gazette and  tu
Tu

Today he holds a part time position after much  town board squabnling in the waning days of the FDG administration

The latest rub is not  the MORIS bs, it is the GE  deal, it  looks as if Ge would have gotten a 9 million dollar reduction in assessed value even with out HB's big negotiated PILOT ,  actually the deal  would have been even better with no end date

Its all thete in black and white, databases never forget and always make note of the user making changes for just such occasions

We at the state put these little gotchas  in for people just like this

I guess Bob God didn't do his homework on this guy. I blame him. He could have talked FDG out of this appt. But I think jm knows what he is doing to survive this long. Have to give him props for that. The gambling thing is peanuts. Cuomo wants a casino and GE is a vital cog. Thank goodness they are still here is all I can say.
