Fortunately for the United States of America, we don't allow foreigners to elect our president --- although Obama has illegally collected tens of millions of campaign cash from foreign donors (2008 and 2012), has undermined efforts to curb voter fraud by blocking moves to remove illegals and convicts from voter rolls & blocked reasonable efforts to require voters show a proper i.d.,  and pretty much has bent over and "assumed the position" when it comes to conducting foreign policy.

Governor Romney is leading in the polling in THIS country and will ultimately win the only poll that matters -- the one on Election Day.

The original headline:
BBC poll: Rest of world favours Obama...
includes the British version of the word "favors"...
I know you would have been lost, so I hope my "creative skills" altering the headline helped you understand
their story!

OK, In this case, that's close enough for me..I admit my mistake..That's the difference between you and me, I'm willing to admit a mistake.
I've taken you to task more than once on this board, from concocting headlines, to just being plain wrong about things, and not once...not once, have you admitted you were wrong....you spend so much time being in lock step with the DNC, you end up just like them...sad...

Perception is everything.  From your vantage point... I speak for the DNC.  I took a questionnaire that
helps you determine which candidate you most agree with.  I agreed with Obama about 70% of the time
but surprisingly agreed with Jill Stein about 87%.

Many of the countries who were hurt financially were sold bogus mortgages by our banks who were forced to write those mortgages for people who couldn't afford them by the Democrats in power at the time. Funny how the Dems want to forget the sins of past administrations that caused it like Carters, Clintons and Frank and Dodd when they oversaw Freddie and Fanny.

Carter, Clinton and Obama can take a lot of the blame for the financial meltdown but you and the DNC all have selective memories when it comes to facts.By the way the stock market is down 250 today.

You seem to post every single poll imaginable and have no trouble finding that info.
I'm puzzled why you didn't do the same for Obama endorsements...

BIGGER PICTURE....BIGGER BIGGER BIGGER......

Quoted Text
The Control of Nature
For centuries—millennia—farmers have saved seeds from season to season: they planted in the spring, harvested in the fall, then reclaimed and cleaned the seeds over the winter for re-planting the next spring. Monsanto has turned this ancient practice on its head.

Monsanto developed G.M. seeds that would resist its own herbicide, Roundup, offering farmers a convenient way to spray fields with weed killer without affecting crops. Monsanto then patented the seeds. For nearly all of its history the United States Patent and Trademark Office had refused to grant patents on seeds, viewing them as life-forms with too many variables to be patented. “It’s not like describing a widget,” says Joseph Mendelson III, the legal director of the Center for Food Safety, which has tracked Monsanto’s activities in rural America for years.

Indeed not. But in 1980 the U.S. Supreme Court, in a five-to-four decision, turned seeds into widgets, laying the groundwork for a handful of corporations to begin taking control of the world’s food supply. In its decision, the court extended patent law to cover “a live human-made microorganism.” In this case, the organism wasn’t even a seed. Rather, it was a Pseudomonas bacterium developed by a General Electric scientist to clean up oil spills. But the precedent was set, and Monsanto took advantage of it. Since the 1980s, Monsanto has become the world leader in genetic modification of seeds and has won 674 biotechnology patents, more than any other company, according to U.S. Department of Agriculture data.

Farmers who buy Monsanto’s patented Roundup Ready seeds are required to sign an agreement promising not to save the seed produced after each harvest for re-planting, or to sell the seed to other farmers. This means that farmers must buy new seed every year. Those increased sales, coupled with ballooning sales of its Roundup weed killer, have been a bonanza for Monsanto.

This radical departure from age-old practice has created turmoil in farm country. Some farmers don’t fully understand that they aren’t supposed to save Monsanto’s seeds for next year’s planting. Others do, but ignore the stipulation rather than throw away a perfectly usable product. Still others say that they don’t use Monsanto’s genetically modified seeds, but seeds have been blown into their fields by wind or deposited by birds. It’s certainly easy for G.M. seeds to get mixed in with traditional varieties when seeds are cleaned by commercial dealers for re-planting. The seeds look identical; only a laboratory analysis can show the difference. Even if a farmer doesn’t buy G.M. seeds and doesn’t want them on his land, it’s a safe bet he’ll get a visit from Monsanto’s seed police if crops grown from G.M. seeds are discovered in his fields.

Most Americans know Monsanto because of what it sells to put on our lawns— the ubiquitous weed killer Roundup. What they may not know is that the company now profoundly influences—and one day may virtually control—what we put on our tables. For most of its history Monsanto was a chemical giant, producing some of the most toxic substances ever created, residues from which have left us with some of the most polluted sites on earth. Yet in a little more than a decade, the company has sought to shed its polluted past and morph into something much different and more far-reaching—an “agricultural company” dedicated to making the world “a better place for future generations.” Still, more than one Web log claims to see similarities between Monsanto and the fictional company “U-North” in the movie Michael Clayton, an agribusiness giant accused in a multibillion-dollar lawsuit of selling an herbicide that causes cancer.

DON'T WE LOOK LIKE A$$ HOLES....leaders of the free world.....BIGGER PICTURE

Quoted Text
The Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE), a United Nations affiliate on democratization and human rights, will send out 44 “observers” to the United States on Election Day to monitor polling and political activities. In particular, these “election monitors” will be looking for voter suppression activities by conservative groups.
Civil rights organizations have met with OSCE representatives to discuss concerns regarding their perception that there are systematic plans to suppress minority voters who are likely to vote for Barack Obama.
The NAACP, the Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights, the ACLU, and others have sent a letter to Daan Everts of OSCE to warn of “a coordinated political effort to disenfranchise millions of Americans- particularly traditionally disenfranchised groups like minorities.” Observers from Germany, France, Serbia, Belarus, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, and other nations are planning to monitor U.S. polling places and “other” political activity.
Catherine Engelbrecht, founder and president of True the Vote, sharply rebuked the request for foreign surveillance of the U.S. election. “These activist groups sought assistance not from American sources, but from the United Nations,” she asserted. “The United Nations has no jurisdiction over American elections.”
Giovanna Maiola, a spokeswoman for OSCE, said that the monitors will “observe the overall election process, not just the ballot casting. They are focusing on a number of areas on the state level, including the legal system, election administration, the campaign, the campaign financing [and] new voting technologies used in the different states.”
Maiola added that OSCE has been regularly invited to observe elections in the U.S. in the past, and has done so since 2002.
Some states, including Missouri, South Dakota, North Dakota, and New Mexico, permit international observation during elections. Maiola said that OSCE will only observe in polls in states in which international access is permitted. However, she indicated that OSCE does intend to follow up on the warnings raised by the civil rights organizations.
“We attended their meeting, we took note of the issues they raised and we asked our observers in the field to follow up on them,” Maiola said.
True the Vote plans to deploy thousands of volunteers to polling stations to monitor election fraud. Engelbrecht said that she is excited about the number of volunteers and the level of enthusiasm for election integrity this year.
Democrats say the AFL-CIO will send out 300 lawyers to monitor poll workers and groups that might challenge voter registration.
In addition, other civil rights and environmental groups and unions such as Service Employees International Union (SEIU) will dispatch thousands of poll watchers throughout the country.
News of the UN-affiliated observers comes one day after Breitbart Editor-in-Chief Joel Pollak reported that the United Nations Special Rapporteur on Counter-Terrorism and Human Rights has warned Americans not to elect Republican candidate Mitt Romney as the next president. Alluding to Romney’s refusal to ban waterboarding in interrogation practices of terror detainees, Ben Emmerson of the UN said that electing Romney would be “a democratic mandate for torture."
We already know that this election will not be like any other election we have experienced. Because of Obama’s overwhelming willingness to apologize to the world for the supposed “sins” of the United States, he has furthered the cause of the United Nations becoming a global government. As the Romney-Ryan campaign continues to gain momentum, we can expect more input than ever thought imaginable from other nations and the UN regarding what the U.S.’s actions and decisions should be. It is also sobering to remember that, even if Romney wins the election, Obama will still be president until January, enough time to do yet more considerable damage.

In a poll of countries around the world, President Obama is preferred to Romney in 20 of the 21
countries polled. The Romney holdout? Pakistan.

A 21 nation poll for BBC World Services for GlobeScan conducted between July 3-September 3
polled 21,797 people around the world and found that 50% would prefer to see President Obama
reelected, while a scant 9% for Mitt Romney.
