You get out of school what you put into it

much of it is about keeping status quo....these folks took classes on human development which includes hormones
emotions physical etc....ALL the aspects of human development and A LOT has to do with hormone changes and the
effects on the human psyche and the exposure of that human to other humans/systems etc.....

schools HAVE to have order....status quo to keep the peace....yes, you get out of it what you put into it but a growing
human doesn't have ANYTHING to compare the school experience to, since they are new to this life.

what shall they put into it?
what shall they share with other humans?
what shall they learn to be their strengths/weakness?
etc etc etc....

the public school system is ill equipped to teach kids  HOW to THINK....instead they teach kids WHAT to think and have
a very small view of the world at large.

I say get rid of pre-K and summer break(kids don't learn how to feed themselves to survive with logic/work because there
is no more farming/homesteading)...make a complete break from the human's need to know how to take care of themselves
and go for the matrix core curriculum village.....that's what the road looks like now.

no brick and mortar needed...especially with the ability to control the internet now via laws/regulations.....

Nice deflect job senders.  Let's make a deal. Starting with this post. I'll no longer respond to you and you will no longer respond to me. That means if I post something, including this post, you shut your piehole.

it wasn't a deflect.....I'm not here to insult teachers but I am here to tear down the system to build a better machine...

IT'S TIME.....

you should fix that little Achilles heel of yours

correct........

I should say a family gets out of school what they put into it  - not public school but "school", public, private, college

this statement does little to help a student who as no elder to prod, question or direct them

the big $$$$ jobs come from "family", "friends", "American idol type talent(lucky to be noticed)"- any student who just goes to "school" and completes 16 years - ie 4year degree will most likely make no more than $100,000 a year - the school business does not produce CEO's

those who make it over $100,000 put in more, asked more questions, or had help or connections

education is a business - it needs to pay its staff and management  - these business have little or no regulation in the form of quality(buying education is like buying the "tummy tuck" system of weight loss) - you need to read the fine print on the contract you sign with the "educator" - some, like public schools, have no fine print - no guarantee of success - no refund

other than state laws mandating an education requirement for teachers - education is an unregulated business

some private schools thru their affiliations guarantee a college seat for all their students(read the fine print) - there is still no guarantee of success

education is a business - buyer beware!

Senders is just bent because he wants students to think like him and his ultra-conservative buddies. Since he didn't attend Mohonasen nor does he have any family members there, he has no horse in this race. He holds a grudge against Mohonasen for some reason. Mohonasen does NOT in any way tell students what to think. What a batshit crazy outlandish claim.

it was NEVER about Mohonasen....BIGGER PICTURE THERE big-guy.....Mohon is 1 school in 1 town in america.....

p.s. when the teachers wear shirts expressing contract issues and have students compose letters to representatives
for them, I'm not so sure anyone is in charge that teaches the kids ALL the aspects of the budget, from the Fed
mandates/state mandates/contracts/taxes/levies/home ownership etc etc etc.......so they won't be told what to think
but are taught to gather all the info to LEARN TO THINK and not just follow status quo......JMHO.

not an ultra conservative  - more of in the middle - students should be taught to question all aspects of an issue  -even question senders or any other member of this board, government and the general public - we all have our beliefs and that is what they are ours not theirs or yours and in our great country we are allowed to express them though some including our governor wish we wouldn't

Some teachers do attempt to teach kids what to think.
We have experienced it forst hand.
Schools are for fish anyway.
Learning is for humans.

One can cite individual cases at ANY school, HOWEVER, Mohonasen is all about teaching kids how to think and not what to think. I personally have family who attends and have friends who have kids who attend. I am impressed at the level of critical thinking these kids who attend Mohonasen have.

Plus, I am a Mohonasen graduate. I have friends who teach, but that can be construed as bias. Fuhhck that- Mohonasen is a great school. I've had enough of you Warriors bashers!

not a warrior basher just sayin that there are teachers who have an agenda and activley work to make kids think the things they want. not all some,. brick and mortar school is as barbaric a relic as gold, its outdated and not relevant,
teachers ought to jettison this system and go into busniess for them selves.
education is not free nor is a a right.
