Names like  Schworm, dellavilla,  riitano, mcgrath, marotta, eunice esposito, rocco roscello, garrow (any relation?)  And many more.  I hope your name didn't get added to the hall of shame.

All the deadbeat Nayboobs should lose their properties immediately. By not paying their taxes in a timely manner, they have shown that they are not responsible enough to own property in the first place. I recall at a recent town board meeting, a fellow by the name of Garrow scolded our fine board for not allowing his family to build a Gym at the old Wingate library. Perhaps if they had been more prompt with their other responsibilities, their request would have been taken more seriously.

We have always paid our taxes on time. As for Mrs. Esposito, I am sure there was an oversight and the situation has been resolved.

LOL

What's the address of the library? I wonder if those taxes are paid?

Was that Esposito listing the former town clerks address?

Surprised the Point would be on the list, the building is tiny and always seems busy...

The point diner has 2 locations. The other one is on State St. in the former Aurthur Treachers Fish building.

Helderberg Ave may be the corporate address.

Keep in mind, these people that fail to keep current with their taxes are close to losing their businesses and their homes.

Not to mention they are charged 18% interest on late tax payments.

As each person fails, it does indeed raise the tax burden on the rest of us.

Also keep in mind, the property tax is only 60% of their total taxes. The school taxes are the rest.

I would hate to see the point close. The building will never get used again with taxes probably around $600 a month.

$26,000 must be a few years of unpaid taxes at least on one of their locations.

The owners are very nice people. It would be a shame to see them taxed out of business.

I drove by today and it has been replaced by another business.

It's hard to have a business in Schenectady when the daily profit goes to the tax collector.

Or in some cases they just stop paying the taxes, and escape from Schenectady.

I went to Lyles and Popeye's, also on State St.  I happened to look at it this time by. Apparently I missed when it closed.

Regular stops for me.

I drove past several of the rotterdam properties just to eyeball what property might be going to auction soon.  Several Ive got my eye on already.  And I'm really liking the old library/county building. Going to have to talk with my agent this week, I bet it can be had pretty inexpensively.

If I play my cards right I'll own several buildings near there in the next couple of weeks.

The list isn't a tax foreclosure list. It is a list of people who didn't pay 2012 by the due date.

Schenectady county properties must owe at least 3 years before foreclosure and /or sale by auction.

Any payments made after the due date include 1.5% interest per month.(18% per year)

I don't see any Library property on the list. The only former Library I know of is 255 Guilderland

The property is currently for sale and has been mostly vacant since it was sold at auction in 2007 for $192,000 to James Commarto     4915 Skyline Dr Delanson NY 12053-3935

It has been up for sale for several years and has remained mostly vacant.

I can't really imagine someone being even remotely interested in commercial property in Schenectady County.

Without a metroplex grant, that is.
