Big question of the week is......

Will former CIA director David Petraeus do the right thing and blow this wide open with his testimony or will he be content as he was when the 'talking points' were revised?

I'm thinking he's going to 'white knight' this and nuke the Obama admin. If he does, then by Friday Boxy will be crapping his pants.

They have been trying to heap all the blame on the CIA. The CIA doesn't like it when you try and make them a scapegoat.

Why isn’t Benghazi the Next Watergate?
Published by John T. Chance on May 13, 2013

Last week whistleblowers testified before Congress on the terrorist attacks on our consulate in Benghazi on September 11, 2012 where four Americans were killed, Ambassador Christopher Stevens, Tyrone Woods, Sean Smith, and Glen Doherty. The whistle blowers Gregory Hicks, Mark Thompson, and Eric Nordstrom called into question the timeline of events and the explanations given by the Obama Administration for months.

Why isn’t Benghazi the Next Watergate? The Democrats have blown the entire controversy off as a political show, while the mainstream media refuses to cover the hearings. Fox News gave the hearing live coverage while most networks did not, others like CNN had “experts” speaking over the hearing so the audience couldn’t hear what was happening.

The liberals are on a red-alert to save Obama and Hillary from looking bad and in the process are ignoring the deaths of four Americans and refusing to look into the resulting bungled cover-up. Imagine if this had happened under President Bush or any other Republican the media and the liberals would be out for blood. They would probably have already started impeachment proceedings, but the President is a Democrat, so as far as they’re concerned there’s nothing to see here.

Forty years ago a group of men were arrested for trying to break into the DNC headquarters and plant a bug for President Nixon. When he and his administration tried to cover it up, there was a media firestorm led by the Washington Post that brought down a President and sent top officials to jail.
Fast-forward to the present day, another administration has attempted to cover up another bungle and the media doesn’t care, (the Washington Post dismissed the whole thing on Twitter as Michele Malkin’s Twitchy.com has documented here.) Even though this time American lives were lost.

There has always been a double-standard for “well-intentioned” liberals compared to “mean” conservatives but this is too far, Americans have been killed. We need to get to the bottom of this and people need to be held responsible

A lie is a lie, who gives a crap what party they are, if they lie to the public they should be held accountable, what you are saying is democrats should get a pass since republicans lied as well, yeah that is going to get us a honest government

Selective Outrage!

I'm only offended when a Democrat lies... when A Republican lies... it's called an "error".

I thought they didn't lie(cover-up)?  Now your argument is to ignore the lie because the Republicans lie too?

Talk about selective outrage.  Your argument is that when Democrats are outraged at Republican lies, Republicans don't share the same outrage.  So now that Republicans are outraged at Democrat lies, we should expect the Democrats not to share the outrage.

This is like an Abbott and Costello who's on first routine.

Again... I'm still waiting for an actual 'issue' to be presented.

Instead of the multiple issues?

- enhanced security requests by the ambassador DENIED
- request for military support during the 8 hour attack DENIED
- CIA report scrubbed of references to an orchestrated attack by known terrorist organization
- "spontaneous protest" over YouTube video story fabricated and repeated as the "official" version of the event on Sunday talk shows.
- Obama repeats "spontaneous protest" over YouTube video lie to the United Nations, weeks after the attack.
- Jay Carney lies to press about what changes were made to the CIA report.

And this is only what we know at this moment.  I'm sure there is some I left out.

Oh yeah, Obama's IRS CONSPIRED to target political opponents.

A new Public Policy Polling survey finds that Republicans aren't getting much traction with their focus
on Benghazi over the last week. Voters trust Hillary Clinton over House Republicans
on the issue of Benghazi by a 49% to 39% margin and Clinton's 52% to 44% favorability
rating is identical to what it was in late March.

Which House Republican?   I'm not sure measuring one person to a committee of people is a valid measurement.

Maybe they won't trust Hillary so much after all the lies come to the surface, there are more whistle blowers to come. "What we have here is a failure to communicate", especially the truth.

No idea what you are talking about.  You must be confused, I never mentioned a House Republican.

I'll post it again:

Yes, I know the silly poll doesn't specify a House Republican.  I was pointing out the absurdity of the poll.

It is the equivalant of asking who you would rather have at bat in the 9th inning of game 7, in the World Series, there are 2 outs and the ball game is tied.  Barry Bonds or the National League.

Funny how Cic always seems to be confused by very simple concepts.

The question asked in the poll:
Do you have a favorable or unfavorable opinion
of Congressional Republicans?
Favorable........................................................ 36%
Unfavorable .................................................... 57%
Not sure .......................................................... 7%

To use Cicero's baseball analogy,
Do you have a favorable or unfavorable opinion  of the NY Yankees
Pretty simple but Cic wants to discuss "a"  yankee instead of the entire team.

What's not to trust about Hillary other than being a carpet bagger senator.....

Whitewater
Travelgate
Chinagate (taking donations from the Chi Com government)
Hiring Sandy 'Socks' Berger (he's the guy that stole documents from the federal archives so the 9/11 commission couldn't read them)
Rose Law firm documents that 'magically' appeared in the WH after years.
Death of Vince Foster
Juanita Broaderick

And my favorite one...

The dodging of sniper fire!

Anyway let's get back to talking about the possibility of President Joe Biden
