From what I saw, both candidates blew over their time allotments and beat Lehrer into submission.

Wow, someone who stands up and doesnt back down like a pu ssy? Hmm, someone I want to stand up for America. Only in Box's girl nation would a pu ssy be the choice to be pushed around as president.

The most interesting part of the debate for President Obama came after it ended.  As he left the stage, he got a text message from Michelle  ###Barry, I am going to be partying all night with the President of the United States###  --- President Obama smiled, started to strut and thought to himself "I am still the top dog."   But as he stepped out the back door, he notices Michelle climbing aboard the Romney campaign bus ...

Obama spent far more time than Romney. They timed it and Obama went way over. Box fails again.

Romney spoke better than Obama for sure.  But Romney is a liar.  Not sure what the probem was with Obama and I will admit I thought he looked almost scared of Romney.  Perhaps O was over-coached.  He should have been allowed to mop the floor with Romney and I do believe he could have and will in the future debate.  Not sure if Romney got a "bigger" bump than Obama got taken down a peg.  We've seen Romney's movie before..It stinks.  Obama is the one who can lead us out of the mess Bush got us in.  Or  Let's bring back Bill!

Obama is an orator, not a debater... Keep waiting for that knockout debate performance, it will never come. When he gives an interview, if the question is not something he has answered before, he stammers and there is no flow to his speech.

It won't matter though, unless the unemployment figures take big move up, it's still Obama's election to lose.
I don't know when people will start realizing that no one is going to be able to light a fuse for this economy.
We are looking at 1990's Japan and maybe worse. The Fed with QE3 has pretty much assured that. They did this not  jump start the Economy, but to keep interest rates low because when they rise, so will the interest on the Federal debt.

It is clear to me that Governor Romney is playing in the Big Leagues --- and the President is OUT of his league..  Although I am a Democrat -- I will indeed be joining the majority of Americans who reject the neo-liberal extremist approach to government.

Obama regurgitates what they tell him to say on the teleprompter because he doesn't have a clue about economics or how to create jobs.

Quoted from Shadow
The topics were way over Obama's head, he doesn't understand how the economy works and has never run a business. the experience he has is the theories he has read in books that have never worked anywhere that they have been tried. The proof was when Obama asked Lehrer to move on to another topic.

Excellent review. Obama is like many DEMS here from the Joesph Goebbels school. Repeat the lie until
enough idiots believe it. Don't worry about the press. A slam dunk for Mitt Romney over an unprepared empty suit.

The problem with Obama is that  a) he can't speak for himself -- he needs Axelrod and Jarrett to prepare every statement that he makes and feed it to him on a teleprompter  -- and b) he has never been challenged by the press or others.   As for lying -- I figured out early on in  his presidential race that Obama was a liar and a fake.    The whole story of how bad he had it as a kid that he tried to push on the American people-- when in fact he was raised by wealthy grandparents and sent to the most exclusive private prep school in the United States.
Did Obama ever get around to telling us the truth about how a convicted felon (convicted for influence peddling/bribing State leaders in Illinois) helped him and Michelle buy a property going for over $1,000,000 for about 1/3 the price ????????????????
Did Obama ever get around to explaining why the hospital that Michelle worked for gave her a $300,000 pay-raise after her state legislator husband began steering state monies to the hospital and the university it is associated with??????????????????????????
Oh -- and has he ever told us that Michelle's job included figuring out ways to keep the uninsured poor from darkening the doorway of that hospital ???????????????????

WHITE HOUSE AUTHORIZES SEARCH FOR PRESIDENT’S MOJO

WASHINGTON (The Borowitz Report)—
The White House today announced that it was offering a “substantial cash reward” for information
leading to “the location and safe return of President Obama’s mojo.”
White House Press Secretary Jay Carney announced the search with an air of urgency: “We will use
every resource at our disposal to ensure the return of the President’s mojo, and that goes double for
his groove.”
Mr. Carney said that as of late Wednesday afternoon no one at the White House knew the President’s
mojo was missing, but minutes into last night’s televised debate “it became clear that something was
terribly, horribly wrong.”
Even if the White House is successful in locating Mr. Obama’s mojo, Mr. Carney acknowledged, it could
take days or even weeks to get it working.
In an effort to reboot his campaign, President Obama plans to announce some bold initiatives for his
second term, including killing Osama bin Laden again.

philosophy; that is, the search for a superior moral justification for selfishness.
