Was Jesus married? Harvard scholar says ancient text on papyrus refers to ‘my wife’ Karen King, an expert in the history of Christianity, says the written fragment of Coptic script is a copy of the gospel. The translated words say in English, 'Jesus said to them, my wife,' King said. BOSTON — A Harvard University professor on Tuesday unveiled a fourth-century fragment of papyrus she said is the only existing ancient text quoting Jesus explicitly referring to having a wife. Karen King, an expert in the history of Christianity, said the text contains a dialogue in which Jesus refers to "my wife," whom he identifies as Mary. King says the fragment of Coptic script is a copy of a gospel, probably written in Greek in the second century. (Daily News) |

Papyrus was the first internet.
Just because it's written there, doesn't make it true.

They omitted the fact that the words "take" and "please" were also in that sentence.
How is it that every old piece of writing they seem to find, is always either part of the bible, or something written by the apostles?
Don't they ever find anything like an inventory, or a census, a decree, or even an old grocery list? |

This entire story is laughable...A piece of paparus, written 400 hundred years after Jesus died by an unknown author...Geez, could I write something on a piece a paper like maybe "Obama is really a socialist" and then 400 years later someone finds it and it makes the news? I hope not, because my note would be about as credible as this note. It's open season for the media to criticize anything about Christianity, while at the same apologizing for anything anti-islamic. |

Just one more "discharge" of the Neo-Liberal Leftist bullcrap that Harvard has been excreting in its feeble attempt to destroy God, Country and Family. |

Christ being married would "destroy God, Country and Family." Who knew? |

You CAN'T destroy God...................you can only reject Him! And He has given you the free choice to do just that. |

OR......................................... There is no god, so he gave you nothing, and all the rest is just a fairy tale. |
