So a tax cap is in reality just a suggestion?
Doesn't the state withhold funding dollar for dollar. for anything the county charges above the cap?
Why won't someone run for office that will cut property taxes 10% a year as long as he's in office?

Libertarian4life, Yes. In the sports world it's known as a "soft cap", ie; the NBA. There are in the sports world, penalties for exceeding the cap. I am not sure if penalties apply in this case. Perhaps others may know. |
