My lack of faith in various media "Best Of" lists was reinforced by Metroland's 2012 selection for the best pizzeria in Schenectady.
The weekly paper's choice was the Fireside Restaurant. It's clear the researchers must have been sleeping at the switch because the Eastern Parkway pizza palace went out of business more than a year ago.

Optimists close their eyes and pretend problems are non existent. Better to have open eyes, see the truths, acknowledge the negatives, and speak up for the people rather than the politicos and their rich cronies.
Fireside Pizza has been closed much more than a year. Even Metroland will not venture into the s***hole that McCheeses and his DEM morons have created. Of course, it still sits totally empty like over other 1,000 structures. Keep the implosion going-"Re-elect" Marion Poterfield. Gots a tax cap?
