I was just on the FBI website, and punched in "Domestic Terrorists"... this is what I read:

~Who are they?
Like many domestic terrorism groups, militia extremists are anti-government. (WOW!  Just
like a lot of posters on this board)

~Who and what is their target?
They usually go after the government itself—including law enforcement personnel, representatives
of the courts, and other public officials, along with government buildings.

(WOW AGAIN! Just like a lot of posters on this board)

~What they believe in.
Many extremists view themselves as protecting the U.S. Constitution,
(Ut oh... Exactly  like some Right Wing Nut posters here.

They believe that the Constitution grants citizens the power to take back the federal government by
force or violence if they feel it’s necessary.

(Just like some of the Right Wing Crazies on the board... HUH!

~ They oppose gun control efforts and fear the widespread disarming of Americans by the federal government.
Um...   Never mind... just forget that I posted this information.
Have a good night!

Note... anyone have the number to the NY branch of the FBI?  I wonder if there is a reward?

Never knew town, city, county government is federal government.   No one here has ever sought "force or violence"

How about protecting the average struggling resident of the communities affected by an issue

Never knew that taxes were a building, a person, etc.

Signs of Despotism

1) Lack of respect for other groups, such as races, classes, political attitude or religion (Continual drone strikes against Muslims, Indefinite detention of Muslims in Gitmo, labeling it's citizens that don't agree with the government establishment as domestic terrorists)

2) Majority of the Wealth and Property is in the hands of the few(Multi-National Corporations)

3) Decision making is in the hands of the few(Obama's "kill list" assassinating U.S. citizens)

4) Demanding of Patriotism from all citizens.(Anybody that supports the war against terrorist - Say aye...Anybody that opposes the war against terror - Say I hate America)

5) Taxation is pressing heaviest on those less able to pay. Taxation is comparably less on the wealthier.(Schenectady Metroplex)

6) No allowance for questioning authority. No teaching students of critical thinking skills(Public Education/Standardized Testing/No Child Left Behind)

7) Ceremonial congress with no real power(Congress allowing the President to wage wars without a Congressional Declaration)

That is why I am not surprised box a rox would parrot the "official" government's ministry of propaganda identifying "enemies of the state" by calling them "domestic terrorists".

Force or Violence???
Hardly a day goes by that there isn't a call to overthrow the govt.

I've never heard anybody suggest "overthrowing" the government.  That would suggest wanting to take the power of the state.  I've suggested withdrawing consent by not participating in state institutions and believing in the state propaganda.  I don't think anybody want to "overthrow" the state, but rather be left alone from the governments continued assault against the individual.

The message usually is "we've got to VOTE these people out in the next election."

Hardly a call to overthrow the (any level) of govt by force or violence

Must be using those "buzz words" in a desperate attempt to prevent freedom of speech guaranteed to us, to state opinions and to state facts (with evidence) so that others may see and learn

It is our last resort in resisting tyranny if need be, sorry if I'm not politcally correct with my answer

I meant to say, using the "buzz words" to draw attention to this site by certain govt people.

Just because some people can't handle that the truths of mis-use of taxpayer dollars is coming out

Box's definition of Armed Rebellion is when people decide not to comply with government force and disobey government orders.  The act of not paying taxes is disobeying, it is non-violent, the response by the government to disobeying is armed thugs throwing you in a cage.

I guess to Box it was wrong of the people to revolt and overthrow Mubarak in Egypt, it was also wrong for the people to fight against Gaddafi and his regime because afterall it was a government, the people in Syria right now I guess deserve to die at the hands of their government because they rebelled
