Box there is no winning when people still are so full of hate and bigotry. Ironically anyone going to support Chick Fil-A will get what they deserve, aka diabetes, heart disease, increased risk of cancer and so on...... Let's hope their sales continue to go up, it will end up in a lot less KKK members in 10 years and we will all be better for it.

Actually I didn't, but I do on frequent occasions so I am flattered by the comparison. Anyways it doesn't take a genius to laugh at the stupidity of all these people making horrible health decisions to support hate.

people support 'hate' all the time.....and it very rarely has anything to do with a CEO/hollywood elites....

the problem when we 'gaggle together' against a CEO/hollywood elite etc, thinking that we are 'offended' and we're gonna show them
we are actually saying that whenever they speak
1. they are speaking for everyone
2. they are always right in what they speak
3. they have that much power to speak
4. we give you power until you piss us off

you see, reacting to one small dirt bag of such inconsequential meaning in the 99%'ers just gives him/her another notch in their
belt....and,,,guess what.....he still has his cars/houses/$$$$

YAY....big fat win......

it's wasted energy/diversion.....

Mayors went too far going after Chick-fil-A

Steve Keller’s Aug. 5 Viewpoint, “Just a blip in same-sex marriage debate,” offered a good, rounded perspective on the Chick-fi l-A controversy.
My only concern with the column was the glossing over of the critical factor involving the mayors of Boston, Chicago and other cities: They do “have the right to voice opposition ... even discourage business,” but they do not have the right, or the power, to use the mechanism of government to stop otherwise law-abiding businesses from operating in their cities merely because they have a philosophical difference with that business’s operator.
It was the threat of using the wheels of government in one of the more perverse examples of political correctness to punish someone who doesn’t think like the mayors of those cities that so many found offensive.
If anyone detracted from the cause of equal rights and same-sex marriage, it was those public officials, including [Boston Mayor Thomas] Mennino and [Chicago Mayor Rahm] Emanuel, who could not help themselves but exhibit the very intolerance that same-sex marriage advocates have been rallying against for so many years.
As one who supports both same-sex marriage and free enterprise (yes, the two can, and should, co-exist) those headline-seeking mayors and other exploiters of this situation are the ones who set the pursuit of equality back.
Because of them, the Chick-fil-A controversy is not merely a blip but an important chapter in the same-sex marriage discussion and all public discourse on freedom of expression.

POLICE OFFICER PUNISHED FOR BUYING CHICK-FIL-A
Dallas News | myFOXdfw.com
myFOXdfw.com - By James Rose, Fox, DFW - DALLAS -

A controversy surrounding Chick-fil-A Appreciation Day has come to light at Dallas police headquarters. mDallas Police Association President Ron Pinkston said Sgt. Mark Johnson of the Southeast Patrol Division brought a Chick-fil-A sandwich to the briefing room last Wednesday. It was the same day thousands of people across the country went to the restaurant chain as part of an effort to show support for the CEO's stand against gay marriage. Two lesbian officers filed complaints against the sergeant. They said his comments and actions left them embarrassed and humiliated. Sgt. Johnson, who has been with the department for 12 years, was transferred. The internal affairs department is investigating the complaints. "The bottom line is we had a sergeant who has been transferred because he brought a Chick-fil-A sandwich to work. And he was transferred without due process," Pinkston said.

Breitbart... No wonder!

If you read the posted article, it states that the Two officers who filed a complaint said:
"his comments and actions left them embarrassed and humiliated".
COMMENTS AND ACTIONS... not buying a disgusting sandwich.

(Breitbart can't even keep it's own stories straight.)

Why would buying a disgusting sandwich be offensive or against police policy.  He was sanctioned
because of his words and actions... not his lack of good taste in food.

Chick-fil-A Surrenders!!!

The conservative fried chicken restaurant chain Chick-fil-A has agreed to stop funding
groups opposing rights for LGBT people, some of which have been labeled as hate groups.

A press release from The Civil Rights Agenda (TCRA) said that Chick-fil-A had confirmed to Chicago
Alderman Proco “Joe” Moreno that its nonprofit, the WinShape Foundation, would no longer donate
money to anti-LGBT organizations.
