Hate and How The Republicans Use It To Keep Power

I’ve said this before; racism and hate are the reasons why the Republican Party still exists.
Without it they’d have roughly 3% of the vote.

How else can you convince someone that it’s a good thing to vote against your own self-interest…
to work until you are 70, have no health insurance, work for no minimum wage, have no benefits,
have no job security, work in unsafe conditions, have your benefits cut when you lose your job,
have the ecology destroyed for corporate profit that you will never see, watch your drinking water
catch fire from fracking fluids needed so energy companies can reap ridiculous profits, watch banks
collapse from deregulation watch the Gulf turn Black from Oil because the Party you vote for thought
oil companies should regulate themselves, proudly have your children killed in a war over lies for the
profit of mega companies getting no bid contracts… how do you get people to do that? You throw in
hate and racism then thought and reason go to the wayside.

2004, Gays are going to Marry unless you vote against your own self-interest!

2008 Gays are going to marry and join the Military if you don’t vote against your own self-interest…..
Oops… they didn’t buy it this time… need to come back stronger!

2010 Obama Care is going to have the Government take over your health Care (Oh, yeah they already
do, it’s called Medicare and it doesn’t work too badly)! Death Panels (FALSE)! Trillion Dollars that we
can’t afford!… (They didn’t mention this would actually save the US $100+ Billion…)

the public doesn't need death panels....just truth OR the right rhetoric....

don't worry public education will fill this gap....

grandma not at home...then home will come to grandma...you know, your poor poor elder..

grandma is just a 'group name' but you may replace it with: infirm, developmentally disabled, physically disabled etc etc....

go ahead and tell me the labels don't matter....

You only need a few minutes of this video to see what type of "information" sells on World Net Daily to it's Conservative base.
Are they really that desperate? At first I thought this was a spoof, but these crazies are dead serious.
A few issues put out there for Conservative Consumption:

~ Is Barack Obama Gay. (Yea! Really! I'm not kidding.)
~ Is Barack Obama bisexual? (Hey! If it's on WND it must be true)
~We wonder why Barack Obama has hidden his homosexuality.
~Was Obama married before he was married to Michelle?
All this in the first minute of the video.

How embarrassing to be a Conservative when people like this bigot represent much of your party.
How embarrassing to be a Conservative and know that a large contingent of your party believes this propaganda.
How embarrassing to be a Conservative and be associated in any way with this video, or WND.

I couldn't get past the first two minutes. I had enough.

Yeah, that's pretty crazy box.  That would be like a news outlet reporting Ron Paul a racist GW Bush not in the National Guard, and the best - Richard Nixon having a gay affair.  No legitimate news organization would  be so slanderous.

Um... Ron Paul's newsletter DID post racist statements.
GWB was in the air guard... but only served part of his time there.
Nixon a gay affair??? I haven't heard that one.

There have been rumors of President Nixon having a gay affair with Bebe Rebozo and some other individuals -- and also of President Johnson (Walter Jenkins and another person who worked with Lyndon Johnson for Congressman Richard Kleberg in the 1930's) and President Kennedy  (namely his life-long friend Lem Billingsley who spent more nights at the White House than Jackie Kennedy).

This is actually funny. Sen Dirty Harry Reid and the Senate DEMS have blocked every single House jobs bill. Where is the Presidential leadership? Right on the golf course playing another round of bad golf. After a record 104 rounds you think Obama would improve. You didn't build your business. Barack did!

The truth of the matter is......folks are disgusted and fed up with both the dems and reps. Folks are waking up to the fact that they are both part of the same 'system'!!! Folks are becoming restless and edgy without any hope on the horizon from either party. Both parties are out of 'cards' to play and they are beginning to realize that the american people are also aware!!!

The american people are not that stupid. They know that there is no way out of this mess short of another GREAT DEPRESSION!! And folks are already preparing for it!! There was light at the end of the GREAT DEPRESSION.......not so today! And this didn't happen over night, or within the last 8 years.......it has been going on for decades! The sheople are finally waking up to that fact....and they ain't too happy!

The People Are Awake...
The Democrats have pretty much been stuck with Barack Obama for their candidate, and the Republicans had
a huge assortment of candidates to choose in the primaries... so who did the Republicans want?
Not Republican Ron Paul... he didn't even come in 2nd... They choose Mitt Romney.

America may be ready for a change, but the choices in this election were between competing Republicans
and a sitting Democrat president.  I saw no other choices.

they said the public will now take the propping up of a black president....

is it politically correct to call him african american?

I kind of remember voting for Barack Obama. I didn't vote for an African American, nor did I vote for a
Panamanian-born American in John McCain.  I voted for a man that I thought could best lead this country.
IMO I voted correctly.

"First of all, from what I understand from doctors [pregnancy from rape] is
really rare. If it's a legitimate rape, the female body has ways to try to shut that
whole thing down."

-- Rep. Todd Akin (R-MO), in an interview with KTVI-TV, justifying his opposition to abortion
even in cases of rape.
(Just one more day in the GOP "War On Women")

"It is beyond comprehension that someone can be so ignorant about the emotional
and physical trauma brought on by rape. The ideas that Todd Akin has expressed about the
serious crime of rape and the impact on its victims are offensive."

-- Sen. Claire McCaskill (D-MO), in a statement on her rival's controversial position on abortion.

Let's talk about a contrived "war on women", Bain Capital, and Romney Tax Returns.

NOT

Unemployment, falling wages, a stagnant economy, federal health insurnace mandated, $16 TRILLION national debt, and still no budget passed by Obama, an 11 Year War in Afghanistan, secret presidential kill lists, drone attacks.
