How long has it been since the country has had a budget?
Why stop there??? How Long Has It Been Since the Country Had A BALANCED BUDGET???
In 1998, Bill Clinton presented the first balanced federal budget (with no annual deficit) since 1969 Hasn't been one since Clinton!
WE MISS YOU BILL!

With job creation the top issue this campaign season
Why hasn't it been a priority before now? Job losses in this country have been astronomical for at LEAST the last 3.5 years. Why is it just an issue during "campaign season"?
It's an issue now because the people have finally discovered that nothing to create jobs has been done in 3.5 years and he hasn't met with the jobs council in 6 months but had time for 100 fund raisers.
We could always just help companies to insource jobs by doing this weird thing, follow the (original) Constitution.
If we ONLY paid for things that were listed in Article 1, Section 8, and got rid of the IRS and other non-Constitutional bodies that are in the US, things would be so much smoother.
We could always just help companies to insource jobs by doing this weird thing, follow the (original) Constitution.
But suppose Obama and the Democrats WERE INSOURCING jobs...(Like the US Auto Industry is today... You remember US Auto Jobs... THE ONES OBAMA SAVED)
Here is why the USA isn't rewarding companies who INSOURCE JOBS...

Senators voted 56 to 42 to proceed to final consideration of the Bring Jobs Home Act, falling short of the 60 votes necessary in order to proceed. The White House expressed strong support for the measure, which is packed with proposals from Senate Democrats facing reelection and eager to demonstrate efforts to shore up the nation’s struggling manufacturing sector.
The bill would eliminate tax deductions that companies may take when moving workers and equipment overseas, but establish a new 20 percent tax deduction for companies that do the reverse.
HUH! Why did this bill fail??? Who voted against this Jobs bill??? OF course we already know who killed this bill... the PARTY OF NO!

Republicans objected to the bill in part because Senate Majority Leader Harry M. Reid (D-Nev.) blocked GOP amendments to the bill, including a proposal to repeal the 2010 health-care reform act. Senate Republicans this month also attempted to amend a small business tax cut bill with language repealing the health law.
SO all the Righties on the board keep crying (BOO HOO HOO!)... "WHERE ARE THE JOBS" There is your answer.

I don't know how any of you can defend the fact that we are now PAYING these companies to move overseas.
Really Tommy... That's a good question for Mitt Romney... since that was his specialty as a businessman. The Mitt should have lots to say on the subject.

This bill does nothing more than subsidize labor. "In sourcing" jobs by offering tax breaks just transfers the $2 per hour labor in China and hires $10 per hour labor in America, and the tax break makes up the difference. Who makes up for the revenue lost for the tax break? This bill is the same model as Metroplex. Entice companies to do business in Schenectady by offering tax exemptions and 0% interest loan, all on the backs of the homeowner. There is no free lunch. This isn't a political disagreement, this is just unsound economics.

They ALL do it!!! Both dems and reps!!! They are ALL rich bast@rds and could care less about the taxpayers....unless of course it is an election year. The only reason why ANY OF THEM are concerned about jobs....is solely due to the flow of money going into the government to pad their pet projects and their special interest groups. We are their rats on the wheel that drives their appetite for money and power and greed!!! ALL OF THEM!!!
NONE of them give a rat's a$$ about 'our' jobs dems or reps!!!! Sadly true!

As long as this government keeps raising taxes and passing regulations that stifle free enterprise, it will always be cheaper to build their products overseas.

That was the decades long planned design!! Too late to turn back now! We are already over the cliff! It has been decades in the making and both the dems and reps are responsible. Like I said....we (the taxpayers) are just the rats on the wheel that keep funding their agenda!!

LMAO @ "free enterprise".
None of this is about "free enterprise"... The issue is whether Corporations will buy the White House.
Citizens United seems to say that they can.

Yeah that whole minimum wage law is a b**ch ain't it? If you took one of those factories and put it smack dab, right now, where GE was, how many people do you think would be down there looking for work at $2.00 per hour?
On the bright side, you can start your "career", when you're twelve years old.
Yup............just like global founderies...........NO RAISES for them.........business is bad they say!! Foreign held company that doesn't even pay well to start!! The jokes on US!!!
