"Education" is barely mentioned.

The title is 'the purpose of schooling'.  It is the objectives of public schooling set forth by those that were responsible for designing it.  Education is barely metioned because that ISN'T THE STATED PURPOSE.

So finally you agree, this has nothing to do with education... It's politics.

The modern conservative is engaged in one of man's oldest exercises in moral
philosophy; that is, the search for a superior moral justification for selfishness.

No, we don't agree, it has to do with purpose of public schooling.  Like it says in the title of both the video and the thread.  It has nothing to do with as you said "teabagging" politics.  But of course, in your hyper political world, everything is political.

the purpose of schooling via our education system

which seems to be an oxymoron...

or shall I say a BOXYMORON

...you are a product of your environment, your environment is a product of your priorities, your priorities are a product of you......

The replacement of morality and conscience with law produces a deadly paradox.
